I chose H.I.S. on the recommendation of a friend. He said that when it comes to Toyota, these guys are the best. He was right! They're always pleasant, thorough, and have things ready when they say they will. Try 'em! I don't believe that you'll regret it.

My overall experience with this local business was undoubtedly the worst in Roseburg Oregon. Before work was presented I asked for communication, integrity, and accountability. This business failed in all three aspects. My daily driver is an audi, I found H.I.S automotive on a standard google search. I brought the car to this place on a Wednesday the diagnosis was free which was great, they updated me through text for a quote for the repair which was $1,650 for a water pump. I did find the quote to be higher than there competitors, which after making some phone calls it was. Most quotes were between $1k and 1200k. When I called back H.I.S automotive and asked about the quote he stated it was a error on there part and that it would only cost $1150 and I would have to supply the coolant for the vehicle ($50). We agreed on the amount, the vehicle was supposed to have been finished on Friday.
Friday afternoon I recieve a text stating part that came in was damaged upon delivery, so it would be Monday before the vehicle would be fixed, this was frustrating, however it was also understandable. I waited all day Monday with no updates on the vehicle, I finally called around 4:30pm asking for an update, I was told the vehicle was still not ready and that there was a broken overflow hose that also needed to be replace, which was going to raise the bill pass $1200 dollars and we would have to wait another day for shipping. We agreed on the amount after haggling on the new price for the repair, I waited all day Tuesday with no update on the vehicle, I again called to see where we were at on the vehicle I was told the part was still not in, meanwhile I did have cancel two other appointments for this vehicle. After calling back the H.I.S automotive I asked if the vehicle was going to be finished on Wednesday, this is where I was greeted with some hostel verbage from the mechanic, stating I will gladly put the car back to orginal status and you can take it elsewhere. I found this to be extremely disrespectful and rude, SO in response I told them I will take you guys up on that. Wednesday afternoon I came in to pick up my broken car, I paid for the overflow hose, which H.I.S automotive charged me additional $18.99 in shipping price of piece was $64.00 Mind you this part was under 1lb and 7 inches long. After paying the bill I was told never to come back.
I found this to be extremely disrespectful considering the circumstances, I can assure I will never come back to this place ever again.
Also what they will not tell you is H.I.S automotive charges you more if you drive a BMW or Audi I was told this was standard practice ? I did fact check this and NO it is not standard. it's your standards. (Price gouging) is what that is called.
Hopefully this feedback will save some other potential costumers some unwanted grief and disappointment in the future.
FYI I found a mechanic in Roseburg that is currently working on the vehicle, out the door price is $800 bucks.

I drive a Fiat and it is difficult to find people who know how to work on the car, but at H.I.S. Automotive I know my car and I are in good hands. They were excellent at giving me detailed quotes for everything they needed to do and then it came in a little bit cheaper than they had originally expected. A couple of days after I got home, I received a follow up text to see if everything was working as it was supposed to and if I was happy with the work. These guys really care about the work they do and the customers whose cars are in their care. I highly recommend them. Thanks guys for all your hard work!

These folks were amazing, fast, and efficient. Didn't try to sell me unnecessary things at all, which is a very big deal.
They explained what was needed, cost, and asked permission.
I highly recommend H.I.S for your car needs.

My 2006 Subaru Forester is closing in on the 100,000 mile mark. And as with all older Subaru's, it is time for the basic maintenance needed to keep it in top running condition.
I am extremely pleased with the quality work they do. And that also extends to the subcontractors they choose. They are only satisfied with everyone's best efforts.
I am now completely confident that my Subaru will safely carry me on my road trip this summer, to meet up with my siblings for a reunion.
