We travel through Oregon every year on our way to see our family. We always stop here for a quick shop/meal and back on the road. Has always been a favorite stop. Today it was the worst. Probably done with them. The store was filthy dirty, bathrooms filthy. Went to the counter, 4 people working. Case with dried out food. Only thing looking close to fresh is a crisp into. Ordered two. Got out to our truck to find out she had grabbed old dark brown reheated crisp irons and stuck them in a bag. So unfriendly, unhelpful and to put old food in the bag when they new I was picking the only fresh thing n the case. After 10 years of loyalty we are done!

I wish I could give them a negative 5 stars. Awful customer service all the way from management (tall old bald guy who had no name) to DARLA who is incompetent at best and terrible apparently at communication. I ordered chick almost 3-4 weeks ago. I was given 4-24-2022 as date they would arrive. I got a call from DARLA on 4-21-22 telling me my chicks were in. I explained to Darla I would not be able to pick them up until after 3pm on Saturday 4-23-22. My husband has cancer and we were out of town getting his treatment. I arrived about 3:30-3:45 to find out my chicks had been sold....apparently standard pick up time is noon...and DARLA did NOT relay our conversation and was of corse not working according to manager who never offered an apology. No wonder his employees are the way they are. Guess he had never heard lead by example?? I then went to coastal in Roseburg to purchase my other pet needs and ...they had chicks and 3 other annoyed customers of the DC Co-Op who had also not gotten their chicks... again DARLA!!!! However I guess we were all super lucky DARLA is less than competent. While looking at the chicks, 2 other customers at Costal said the chicks they bought from CO-OP died and infected their coop. SO for me the long and short of it is..I will NEVER step foot in the DC CO-OP again!!!! Oh and FYI the price of the chicks at coastal is 1/2 of DC CO-OP price. At Costal they have very helpful, knowledgeable and well trained staff. Thank you to the 2 sweet young women who helped me with all my chick needs...I was so happy I got 6 instead of 4!

The ladies that work there seem extremely stressed out and in turn they become rude and snappy with customers. Worst customet service ever and they dont even have bags! When i asked for a bag as i was juggling 4 gatotades and lunch items she scoffed.and said well here is a cardboard box then. Wont be back anytime soon!

My husband and I love shopping here. They have plants, farm supplies, cute clothes, irrigation you name it... I want to thank Larry in the irrigation and plumbing department. He came to our rescue big time!!!! We bought a shallow water pump to replace our old pump and couldn't get it to work right. My husband took a video of the difficulty with our pump... Larry looked at the video and said there were two switches working against each other. Since our water pressure tank already had a switch we didn't need the switch on the pump. He told my husband how to disconnect one of the switches. My husband followed Larry's instructions and now our water works perfectly. Thank you Larry!!!!

I love their selection however I always feel I am low priority to the cashier. No eye contact they continue conversations with others they know while checking you out and you feel like its just their job. The people who help you load feed and items from the out barns have obviously been trained well as they ALWAYS ask how you are doing! They need to train the cashiers.
