From Community Cancer Center
In 1979, a group of local citizens saw a need for radiation therapy services in Douglas County. With the assistance of the Douglas County community, they incorporated a non-profit organization under the name of the Community Cancer Foundation. This group raised funds to construct a radiation therapy facility, located on Umpqua Street, in Roseburg, Oregon. The Community Cancer Foundation operates under the Community Cancer Center (CCC), providing radiation therapy services to the community. In 2009, we opened our 44,000 square foot, state of the art, comprehensive cancer care facility at 2880 NW Stewart Parkway.
