We have been clients of this vet for over 20 years, more like 27 years, and I used to think they were good. However, in the last few years there are more regulations and less compassion for the needs of the animals than ever. I wanted to give our pets a product called Profender to kill worms. It's applied topically so it is easier to do than pills. I ordered it online at a good price, and Bailey's needed to give their approval before I could purchase it. Last time I did this they refused, because they said our cats hadn't been in for a checkup in the last couple of years. After I got the two of them checkups, I tried again. This time I had our two cats and my son's cat living with us. They approved one of our cats who had a checkup 6 months ago, but they refused the other who was in about 1 1/2 years ago. They also refused my son's cat because they said his name wasn't on the order. It was on the order, so I told the online pharmacy to fax it to Bailey's. They did and then Baily said they had never seen my son's cat. This was a lie because he was just in their office a month ago for his booster shots and a checkup. He had also gotten a full exam in 2017. I'm tired of all the ploys being used by money-grabbing businesses like this one. There are enough regulations in our system without having the socialists take over our pets as well. There are other good vets in town and hopefully some who actually care about the pets getting good affordable care rather than becoming the pet police controllers who want more and more of their share of the pie at the expense of the animals and to the detriment of their owners.
