“Our recent experience has reminded me that going local is the way to go. We needed a new dishwasher recently and decided to purchase through one of the two chain garden/home improvement stores. The service was "meh" but we persevered. After waiting for two weeks for any movement on the company, we decided to go down the street to Tim's and see what options they had for dishwashers. While the selections were few, they had one dishwasher that had what we wanted (of COURSE we want the third rack...doesn't everyone?)...and though it was more expensive than we originally planned on spending (at the box store), it was ready for purchase and installation. We paid for it and waited for a phone call to have it installed...and what do you know? We were called within two days and the actual dishwasher was installed within three days of the call! The person who installed the dishwasher was professional, respectful, and determined to install the product completely and correctly! We are still waiting to hear from the box store for next steps on purchasing a cheaper dishwasher...it's now been a month since we started the process with them. I kind of hope they do call so that I can rave about Tim's and their speedy service. Oh, and that we ended up purchasing a more expensive product. Go local, my yelping friends!”
