“Had no intention of stopping in at Cascade Gorge Store in Prospect, Oregon. Life had other ideas, though. We were on our way to see Crater Lake for some sightseeing and hiking. Then misfortune struck. My rental car's tire sensor came on. Fortunately, less than a minute later, we came upon Cascade Gorge Store. Thank goodness they were open!! We had absolutely zero cell phone reception so we would have been in trouble without the assistance of the lovely woman working that day. Wish I remembered her name. Anyways to make a long story short, she let us borrow her phone so we could call the rental company. She also let us wait outside while the issue was resolved. Of course, I had to check out their store. It is no fancy convenience store, but they do carry all the basic necessities. They even sell gasoline and pump it for you. We bought a few snacks while waiting. Prices were very reasonable. Super Awesome customer service!!!! Oh and by the way, we did make it to Crater Lake later that day. Truly a sight to behold!!”
