I ordered a washer and dryer online directly from the manufacturer.I received numerous emails informing me I needed to ensure I would be able to accommodate the size of the unit in order for it to be delivered. Once the unit was available, I began receiving email and text messages from RXO logistics about the delivery of my appliance. None of these emails from the manufactureror RXO made any reference to electrical requirements.This past Monday, February 26th, the date I had scheduled for delivery, the driver showed up, took a look in my basement, where I had an electric clothes dryer plugged in and working for the two years I have owned this home, said "that's the wrong outlet. You need a 30 amp. I can't deliver this unit unless I can plug it in and make sure it works" and left. I had taken the day off work. My wife was busy with our children and neither of us are electricians. I called XPO for more information and was told I needed a *50 amp* outlet. That did not make sense as the appliance documentation said the dryer used a maximum of 26 amps.I called a couple of electricians and finally found one who was available and said they knew what I needed. I rescheduled the delivery with RXO for the day after the electrician.The electrician arrived today and my wife called RXO to confirm what type of outlet was required At first, she was told she needed a two-prong outlet, and when she told the woman on the phone that did not make sense, the woman told my wife a three- or four-prong outlet.Since I am not an electrician, I googled "30 amp dryer outlet" and found at least four different outlet types. I called RXO again, hoping for some clarification and confirmation, because I did not want a repeat of my experience from Monday, having the driver say he could not deliver the unit because I did not have the correct outlet.I spent nearly an hour on the phone, having to insist on escalating because no one could give me a clear answer. Finally, someone called the local RXO office, told them my problem, and then explained to me that I needed a 30 amp dryer outlet, either three or four prong would be fine and that RXO would be able to deliver the unit if I had either of those.I should not have had to be informed by the delivery driver I did not have the correct outlet. When I called RXO, I should not have been provided incorrect information and had to spend over ninety minutes on the phone trying to figure out what kind of outlet I needed for the appliance. This information should have been included in emails from both the manufacturer and RXO, and could have been as simple as "Make sure you have a 30 amp, three- or four- plug dryer outlet. Building codes change often, so you may want to have an electrician check"After the outlet was replaced, the unit was delivered and hooked up. The second delivery crew did a good job. My complaint is with the communications from RXO's offices, not the delivery team.

The whole experience, from start to finish, was perfect, and I very much appreciated all of the communication. It was terrific and very timely. The three people who delivered were courteous, efficient, and very kind. They ensured everything was clean, they took the extra boxes away, and they were determined to make sure everything looked good.

Received my phone call within the 30 minute delivery window time which was perfect for me to notify my son that they were coming. Once Sergio got to my house, after a couple knocks there was no answer. Sergio called me to let me know so I could get my son to the door. The great communication was appreciated!They assembled my bike and were extremely pleasant to interact with. You do not see this as much nowadays. Thanks RXO!

We couldn't have gotten a better delivery team than Anselmo and Alan - they were prompt, polite, efficient, respectful, communicative and friendly. They knew what they were doing and worked very well together - not a wasted movement, problem-solving along the way (the unit was almost too big for the space) and very good-natured the whole time. They worked their butts off getting the W/D up the flight of stairs to the laundry closet and then cleaned up all the packing materials and took our old washer and dryer away.
