Ridiculous. Get rid of the self check out lines (I get it people steal) but hire some more employees. We should never have to wait in line for 30 minutes at 9pm on a Friday.

Never enough time in that place. Love the bulk food section especially the spices. It's a good store, great location for me, like 3 blocks away.

I have had some weird experiences here, and sometimes their produce is not that fresh, so u have to be warry of that and make sure u check everything before u buy. The main pull is that this winco is open 24 hours.

This store needs more cashiers! Every time when I coming here there is always a huge line that moves very slowly and it’s always less than half open!

Used to be great to get a few things cheap, but they took away all the self checkouts and never seem have more than three registers open. Skip it and go to Fred Meyer unless you’re just here for the vibes

Krista is an awful employee. Not helpful, wouldnt do her job when something went wrong (store caused) and told me i had to just eat my lost money. Garbage service.

It's a Winco and so some employees are glad to be there and some hate being there and hate you as a customer making it so they have to be there.
Walking in I found the front entrance mostly blocked by an employee with a huge cart stocking items and she just glad at me while I tried to get by her and her enormous cart only to find a mother wrangling her two kids and taking up the remaining space in the entry way.
Once inside I found that most Isles are being stocked and so are blocked by giant pallets and rude employees.
Thankfully the checker was friendly and most of the customers were also in good moods despite over hearing several people comment about the isles being blocked.
Their prices are still good so still worth coming to. I will stick to mine off 82nd and Powell where they seem to have gotten rid of the unhappy employees.
Don't know who's in charge of alcohol sales for WinCo but they have struck an amazing deal with Fort George, they're selling the 3-way IPA for $11.99 while everybody else in Portland is selling it for $16.99. Definitely worth coming in to grab that. They seem to do this every month making one really expensive item super cheap.

I usually have a pretty good experience whenever I visit this grocery store! Overall great selections on the food. Though on my most recent trip I noticed a few hazards, there was a leaking freezer, and there were absorbent pads on the ground semi tucked under the freezer. These pads appear to have been neglected as I made a second round in that aisle and there had been some water spreading across the ground. This could have caused injury to an individual.

In short, don't shop here.
A couple months ago the store removed the self checkouts and did nothing to compensate. I entered around 8:30pm and the entire store was nearly empty except for the front of the store where only 3 checkstands were open. All 3 checkstands had lines that snaked around. The lines were somewhere around a 30 minute wait.
Whomever is running this store is abusing its employees putting them through this experience and taking customers for granted.

Very rude employee at register 9, named Chris. My 11 year old daughter was putting groceries on the belt while I was at the bakery grabbing a product, she accidentally put a container of Playdough from Fred Meyer across the street that we brought in with us on the belt. I didn't realize this till Chris was holding the play dough. I said "I'm sorry that's from Fred Meyer"
Chris says to me "you shouldn't bring products from other stores in here, this isn't a play room"
He also said " you shouldn't be putting things on the belt without your father honey" to my 11 year old daughter.
It took a lot to hold back from going off on this employee and I will be calling management in the morning.
I can steal a whole bag of groceries and walk out without security being able to stop me but I get an attitude for a product accidentally put on the belt?
Maybe employees should be better trained on the products you sell?
