Great wine storage. It's a bit more affordable than the place where we previously stored our wine. Basically $10 more got us 2x the storage. Friendly folks also. And it's a convenient location, easy to get to off I405 and close to NW 21st and NW 23rd restaurants.

I have stored my wine in more than a few storage facilities over the years and this facility is the absolute best BY FAR. Seriously, if you are looking for a wine storage facility, give John and Kevin a call RIGHT NOW and get yourself a locker, you will be glad you did. So, what makes the place great you ask? Many things my friends, many many things. First, I think is the service. John (the owner) was SUPER responsive and worked with me to get the exact size locker I needed for my collection and arranged for custom racking to be built and installed prior to move in. John and I worked to ensure the racking would support the different sizes I have now with enough flexibility for the future. Finally, the racking was a great deal with the assembled and installed cost comparable to DIY kits, which saved me a ton of cash and time. Another example of the great service was when I was moving in. I was bringing wine from out of state and arriving late/after hours and it was not a big deal at all. Kevin met me after hours and helped me get the wine into my locker and then signed all the paperwork. Likewise, I have been at the cellar all week racking the bottles and someone blocked me in my parking space and Kevin was awesome in helping me get the folks to move so I could get out of the parking lot. I think the next thing that sets Willamette Wine Storage apart is the sense of community John and Kevin have built. Even though Covid-19 has killed the weekly tasting in the tasting room for now, it is clear from the newsletters and past events that there is a group of wine enthusiasts who gather often to share wine and enjoy each other's company. Remember the late arrival I told you about? When Kevin was showing me around, we walked through the collectors club (a second membership based tasting room), I was warmly welcomed and offered a glass of Meursault, which was lovely! Certainly not least of all is the facility, which is magnificent. First off is the 24 x 7 access which is fantastic. The tasting room is amazing and is in really great condition with a huge TV and great stereo system. Also, there is enough stemware, decanters, plates, and flatware to cater any size party. Not to mention the ample packing supplies, tables, step ladders, and carts to make getting wine in and out the facility super easy. Anyway, just an amazing place, your wine will not be happier!

They were rude and disrespectful to me when I went here to store wine for my business. They made it clear that they didn't want my business and treated me like a second class citizen. Black lives matter!

A friend of mine invited me to a gathering here, a wine tasting or more like a wine sharing event that I believe is usually held once a week. Members would bring a favorite bottle of theirs, or some bubbly. And everyone basically gets to intermingle while sampling each others' bottle. Sounds fun right? Well, it was! It seemed like every pour I sampled was a good one. When you enter the facility, you first start in the tasting room. I wasn't expecting a lot of people at the entrance, but the place was pretty packed with members already socializing and sharing wine. As I walked further towards the back, with glass in hand, my friend brings me to his locker unit. But at the same time, giving me a general tour of the place. I mean from end to end, all you see are wooden doors with a lock, but to my eyes it was very impressive to say the least. His locker was smaller in size, but it did seem to be big enough to maybe hold between 80-120 bottles. No pun intended on judging the size of a man's locker, but man there were some that were just huge! Another member opened up his double door locker in which you can walk into, and he had bottles all lined up along the walls like a typical wine cellar. With cases in the middle too. And from what I was told, you can have your case shipped to the facility instead of sending it home. Pretty cool imo! Now, I wouldn't be able to tell you pricing on each unit, only because they comes in various sizes. You'll have to inquire with the owner about that. All in all, I wasn't expecting the event to be fun, but it was! And I did not think anyone can make a storage facility look so fancy! Maybe they can remodel the tasting room or make it bigger, but that's really no reason for me to drop a star or two.

John(the owner) is awesome! They have been around for a long time. Always have great service, and throws yearly holiday parties for his clients, so sweet! My dad has been storing his wine here for quite some time, and I've even spent a few holidays here! Great storage options, and great service. Kevin (employee) is very sweet and helpful! Great staff. If you're looking for great service you don't want to miss out on this place!

I've been storing my wine here for years. John, the owner, is really friendly. The 24 hour access has saved my bacon on more than one occasion, and the few Wednesday tastings I've been to have been a hoot! Also, check out their cool new mural (it faces Vaughn).
