To be fair, Wells Fargo will never get more than 3 stars regardless of how nice their employees can be. This spot only gets two. No dedicated parking and the building was dripping on me while using the ATM.

Opened an account with Wells Fargo after seeing promotional advertisements. They charged a $10 monthly service fee for each month after it was open and never provided the promotional amount. In order to close the account, they're requiring me to send a hand written letter to their unclaims department on Vaughn St. You can't do it over the phone. You can't do it online. 0/10 for Wells Fargo. This is legal theft.

There is an employee named Rebecca who is extremely rude, disrespectful, and racist. She made racial comments to me about being white and I should have enough money to handle my business properly. I am no longer banking with Wells fargo. I would run from this branch and this chain as far as you can

This branch is never opened the one on NW 19th Avenue in Portland. Finally one day I discovered it was opened people were walking in. The manager was very rude wouldn’t even let me in to make a deposit. She was nasty. I used the atm my card got stuck in the machine and nobody in there would help me. I had to call Wells Fargo customer service. Will never use them again.

Never open. 9-5 Mon-Fri and here I sit in the parking lot lobby doors locked on a random Thursday at 1pm. Would be great to deposit my check so I can pay rent. Not the first time. Guess they make their own hours and the sign is just a suggestion.

They treat you very well at that branch. I have never had any problems with this branch.

I was a customer of Wells Fargo for 18 years, I always maintained a positive balance but when I lost my job of 10 years unexpectedly I ended up over-drafting. While waiting for unemployment to kick in Wells Fargo closed my account due to a negative balance, which I understand. Despite my account being closed I went in to cash a birthday check from my mother for $50 and a class action lawsuit check for $100. Given my history And the small amount I was cashing I didn't think I would have a problem. They refused to cash the checks for me, which I guess if it's policy I understand. What I don't understand is why they treated me like I was a piece of garbage because of it. I was clearly going through a challenging time and the way they spoke to me was humiliating. I had a car loan paid off through them- lines of credit paid off, credit cards- 10s of thousands of dollars always paid back on time. This was the first time I've ever had any financial issues and they made it clear they wanted nothing to do with me. Thankfully I just got a new job and in a fortunate turn of events am purchasing my first home. This is business they would have had, had they treated me with respect and kindness during a hard time in my life.

There's some really nice people working here, especially this one tattooed brunette with the interesting perspective on existence. How do I know this? lol Because she and her supervisor were trying their damnedest to be patient and understanding with me when I grew irate over a restriction that I should have made myself aware of; I was acting just like my entitled dunderhead redneck customers, though thankfully sans macho posturing.

Friendly, helpful staff that is always happy to see and help you. POSTSCRIPT: My latest visit here revealed all the long term staff (the only branch I know that had that) was gone. The new teller was fine but what the heck happened to all the old, great staff?

I just switched to this branch because it is close to my home. Everyone is always so nice, welcoming, and helpful here. (And at every Wells Fargo now that I mention it)

I've had good success with this branch. All I really do is deposit checks or take out money, so I can't speak to their other services. Friendly staff and I've never had to wait in line. Closed on Saturdays which can be a bummer, but there is another branch a few blocks away in the pearl if I need to do business on the weekend.

I cannot warn you enough to be VERY, VERY careful doing business with Wells Fargo and, even more specifically, this branch. Before talking to them, Google "Wells Fargo Opened An Account Without My Permission." You will find they are being sued in Los Angeles (by the City of LA) and have other class action suits against them. It happened to my wife at this very location. She applied for a credit line, was told they were only requesting to see how much they could give and that she would be able to say "yes" or "no" before they would proceed. The bank responded with an amount less than she was looking for and my wife politely said, "no." A few weeks later, they call her, telling her they just needed to ask a few questions about the line, in which case, she said there has been some confusion, she had said no before and does not want it. She then called her local banker (at the NW 19th Branch) and repeated that she just got a weird call and she does not want the line. They opened it anyway! This would not be so bad, but then Wells Fargo refused to shut it down and take it off her credit causing her to be unable to open another account at a reputable bank until it was taken care of. This whole process took months and it wasn't until we found out about them being sued for this very behavior, and brought it to their attention, that they were willing to do anything. The people at the bank have exhibited some of the worst customer service I have ever seen and the bank's San Francisco Lawyers are now telling us that they have permission to open accounts for people when they simply "inquire" about a line, even though the bankers say otherwise (the lawyers say they are just "poorly trained" and it's hard to train so many employees). The city of Portland needs to stand up to Wells Fargo and stop consumers from being taken advantage of.
