The pharmacy here is a joke. After another Walgreens had given me the wrong amount of a medication, I tried to track down the correct amount. I spoke with a floater pharmacist, Ken, who was very kind- and he notated that he put the correct medication to the side with my name on it, so it wouldn’t be distributed to anyone else before I got there. Due to insurance, I had to wait an additional day to fill and couldn’t pick up same day.
The following day I received a text message stating that my medication was out of stock and needed to be ordered. I promptly called and spoke to Stephanie(pharmacist) who I can only describe as being rude, unkind and unprofessional. When I explained my situation, she laughed. Laughed! She then asked me, verbatim “isn’t there something you can supplement with over the counter until we can get your medication?” I didn’t think I heard her correctly. No, Stephanie, I cannot supplement with something over the counter for an infection. She then tells me that another Walgreens (miles and miles away) has the medication. When I specify the dose I need she tells me they don’t actually have that one but she’s just “letting me know what they do have.” Why do I care what they have if it isn’t the correction medication, Stephanie? At this point I’m so frustrated I began to cry. I had been back and forth for days with incompetent pharmacists and my medication that had been specifically set aside for me was sold under her watch. As I’m crying she says to me in a raised tone “MAAM, you’re being too much.” She then puts me on hold and someone else picks up-I’m now speaking to someone else (this individual was actually very kind and helpful). Stephanie, you are in the wrong field of work. Your job requires empathy, kindness, professionalism and unmatched customer service. You are dealing with sick people, who are often at their most vulnerable. You possess none of these skills and I hope for your own sake you do some self reflection on your behavior. I have notified Walgreens Corporate of this as well. Having a pharmacist like this on staff is a danger to all patients.

This Walgreens used to be good and now it’s a you know what show. It looks like a mess back there. Last time I was here they had lost someone’s medication, and they closed the drive through so you have to go in even when you’re sick. Definitely time to find a new pharmacy. I know plenty of other Walgreens that are great so I can only assume it’s a management or staffing issue. They seem totally overwhelmed.

I hate writing poor reviews but I had a very disappointing experience in the photo department here. My boss ordered a photo print to be placed in a "custom floating frame" as a gift for a friend. $49.99 for a 5x7 print in an 8x10 frame.
First, the online order was incorrectly processed. It was supposed to be ready the same day. Several weeks later I called to follow up on it and after much searching, I was told someone must have erred and marked the order complete but didn't actually make the product. (We were not charged.) The digital upload had since been deleted so we had to start over again. We did, but couldn't finalize the online order (it kept saying something was wrong with the data input) so I went into the store and ordered it on the photo department kiosk.
A day later I got a phone message that it was ready for pick up but when I got it home and examined it closely, it looked terrible! In a floating frame there is a clear plastic backing that the photo is attached to with 2-sided tape, then that's covered with glass and put in the frame. This results in a transparent area between the photo and the frame - hence the "floating" image. This is not forgiving; the glass needs to be clean and clear. It was obvious they hadn't even cleaned the glass before putting the frame together. It was cloudy, and there were particles of lint and/or dust between the glass and the clear backing. As a minor additional downer, when you looked at the back of the finished product you could see the 2-sided tape strips, which would be fine, except that they weren't even applied neatly. They were partially stuck down, then half folded over themselves - just really sloppy. Honestly it looked like a child did this part. Unacceptable for something intended to be a special gift.
I called them and very politely explained this, and asked if they could fix it (just the clean glass issue - didn't even mention the tape at first). If it was just a matter of removing the glass and cleaning it I would have simply done it myself. But the frame is a type that really isn't made to be disassembled once put together. I wasn't even sure how to do it. Here's the worst part: Not only did they NOT even apologize for the problem (I mean, I was REALLY nice about it)... the guy told me that Walgreens really shouldn't be selling this product because the employees don't have the tools to make it right. He offered to look in inventory to see if they had another of the same frame so they could redo it. But with what he had told me, there was no guarantee it would look any better! If they're not trained to have attention to detail and aren't provided the tools (I'm thinking a dedicated area to assemble, lint-free cloths for cleaning the glass, probably a rubber mallet to tap pieces of frames like this into place) why on earth would I have him redo it?!!!
My husband and I ended up figuring out how to dismantle the wood frame, then carefully cleaned the glass and plastic backing, and put it all back together. Spent over an hour doing this. Again, the cost from Walgreens was $49.99. Wow, terrible service and a big disappointment. I would have just asked for my money back but my boss really wanted to give this gift to her friend, so we had to make it right ourselves. Had I known... I'm sure I could have had a 5x7 print made and purchased my own 8x10 float frame for a lot less than $50 + runaround.

After receiving a call from the pharmacy telling me my prescription was ready, I arrived only for them to tell me that not only had it been cancelled, but that I had never received the message I did. Completely unreliable communication and a total dismissal of my explanation. I strongly recommend avoiding this location.

Often understaffed leading to long waits or closed drive-thru, or surprise closures. No need to use this pharmacy when Fred Meyer is just a block away and much better

Pulled into Walgreen’s, went in and shopped. Came out and car wouldn’t start. Amazing guy named Newton from Walgreens asked if we needed help. We had already called AAA. Took over an hour to arrive. He invited my son and I to hang inside since it was cold out. He was friendly and very personable. There was another gentleman inside working the checkout. He was nice too. You just don’t see kindness like that anymore. Kudos to both and to Walgreens for hiring such great customer service employees. PS - AAA showed up and battery was jumped. Thank you Newton for making a bad situation tolerable!

First off, I would like to start by saying that ANY of the reviews where people complain about long wait times for prescriptions, not having their medications in stock, anything to do with getting a prescription filled, I implore you to please take a step back and zoom out to what the actual problem is, and where blame actually lies, because I can absolutely without a doubt assure you, your issues are not with the staff. Would you be a happy bubbly, ray of sunshine if every single day when you walked into YOUR job, half your coworkers had either quit or were absent, but you still had the same amount of work to do, with less people to help you do it, essentially doubling your workload, that wouldn't set the tone for an incredibly high pressure stressful day? Of course it would. Maybe they didn't have your medication in stock. Well, I really don't know how people actually think it's the pharmacists fault. Lots of medications are having GLOBAL supply issues, the pharmacists are not the ones that can control whether or not certain pharmaceutical companies can make more odds

This review is for the corporate office, related to this location. Pharmacy is consistently understaffed, wait times are ridiculous, they don't have prescriptions ready when the system informs that they are, and in general, staff doesn't seem to know how to handle customer issues. This is direct reflection on the company as a whole, because they are responsible for setting procedures and making sure stores are staffed and trained appropriately. There are many other options in the area. Avoid stress by choosing a different pharmacy.

I'd give zero stars if it's possible. They indicate prescriptions will be ready on their app and never update to let you know that the medication is not available. They don't answer their phone, so the only way you can find this information out is to stop your own work, lose money from your pocket, and drive over there to find the information out. They'll set false promise is stating that they'll call you the next day when medicine is come in to let you know if it's there, but you know that they can't even answer the phone upon calling in when there's no line at the pharmacy, who's to believe that they would actually place an outgoing call?! Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience in this town

The pharmacy staff here are so good, I'm leaving my first ever Yelp review. Huge gratitude to Shailaja, Emma, and Ann. In addition to being cheerful and organized, they are super flexible and were able to fit my kids and my flu vaccines within the space of one appointment, saving us so much time. And if that weren't enough, there was no residual arm pain from the shots. Thank you so much, Walgreens for the win!

Waited over 30 minutes with 3 people ahead of me in line for prescription, Got mine and was in and out within 2 minutes... I understand that you are short staffed, but you really need a system in place where people that are picking up medication need to have one line, and people who come into the store who have questions go to a different line, I most likely will be switching pharmacy is after seven years with Walgreens, I have never waited in such a long lines at every Walgreens in Beaverton and Hillsboro. besides the pharmacy, the reason why it is 3 stars is because the staff up front were very polite..
