We were searching for a custom ring maker for my wife's 30th anniversary ring and I came across VK Design website and was immediately impressed with what Val had to say and her values. We communicated back and forth via email and eventually met to discuss the project. My wife and I were impressed with her presentation and passion and decided to proceed with the project.After a couple of revisions we moved to construction phase.A few weeks later we went to pick up the finished product and my wife went to tears when she saw the ring. It was more than perfect and was even better than we could have imagined.Val is a pleasure to work with and is very professional, organized, and insightful. Apparently, I will be getting my wife some earrings to match for Christmas!Plus you can get a great lunch or snack at Olympia Provisions in the same building when you visit the VK Designs studio!

The best experience!!Wanted to create a new wedding set with stones from grandmother’s, mother’s and my own wedding rings. I knew I loved Valerie’s work, plus her metal recycling and fair mining practices. Then I found out I loved working with her-she’s so positive and up beat about her work. With great communication and collaboration we came up with a set I adore!! Happy beyond expectations.

Valerie made my fiancé and I custom wedding rings using our heirloom gold and a beautiful opaque Montana sapphire she dug up and cut herself! We wanted something unique, elegant and not flashy and Valerie hit the mark on all three. She was very attentive to my and my finance's vision for what our rings should look like and also provided great ideas that aligned with our style. So happy we found her and definitely plan to come back for an anniversary gift!

Val is wonderful to work with. I showed her a photo of what I was thinking and had an heirloom diamond and she made the most incredible ring. My husband and I love our wedding rings. I stare at mine every day and am so proud to wear it and show people. She thinks of the comfort of the ring and helps you get the perfect fit as well. Sustainably sourced. She was even able to use some gold from rings I had from my mother as well. I couldn’t be happier and I can’t recommend her enough!

Val is amazing. I stare at my engagement ring and wedding band every day and I love them. My husband loves his wedding band as well. I told her what I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted and it turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. All sustainably sourced. My husband and I had old fashioned rolled wedding bands and a princess mounted diamond that just didn't fit who we are anymore. Val helped us take the existing material and totally morph it into a modern representation of us and our marriage. We love the final product. Her price was fair and she was a true artist and gem to work with. We highly recommend putting your project in Val's hands. Top notch designer and crafts person.
