Best chocolate shop in Portland. Our favorite place to get the finest quality of gourmet milk chocolate that melts in your mouth with luscious fillings. We bought the grande box for a gift to our Aunt's birthday and of course my favorite signature box for myself as a treat. Do yourself a favor and get some chocolates here or if you're looking for a special gift for that special person this is a great choice. I highly recommend Verdun Fine Chocolates.

Amazing assortment of chocolates and amazing customer service. One of the big selling points is that most of their chocolate is well balanced and not sickeningly sweet.

Got a box of baklava here for $35. The assortment in the box was plentiful and enough for sharing. It'd make a great gift. Staff was really friendly and let us sample some chocolates even though we only came for the baklava. The chocolate I did try was pretty good and comparable to most specialty chocolate shops. Prices are definitely on the spendy side.

I have been looking for something similar to moonstuck ever since they went out of business, and here I have found a similar, if not better experience.The way they described the chocolate showed how much they cared about their business. The staff is very friendly and kind.They helped me find what I was craving, then also helped by turning me on to new favorite styles of chocolate I haven't tasted before.The price, in comparison to moonstuck, is modest. With the quality being higher, it seems to be the best place to get high-end chocolate for a great price.
Vegetarian options: The only animal product in the chocolate is dairy.

The staff was patient while we perused the shop and helpful with suggestions and describing the chocolates. We ended up trying several. The pistachio and orange marmalade were delicious. They have prepared chocolates that would make the cutest gifts.

This was my first time in the shop and everything was very clean and presentable. The owner was great and really friendly: he answered all my questions and went over the different types of gift boxes & I was also able to try some samples. Definitely recommend!!
