“We stopped in to What's New furniture for the first time last week and were so impressed by the selection of furniture and the prices and the friendly people working there! We had been looking for a few new pieces of furniture and they had exactly what we were looking for. We ended up getting a beautiful teak dining table, midcentury walnut dining chairs, and a beautiful grey blue sofa. The employees were absolutely wonderful, kind, and helpful and we were able to take advantage of the Memorial Day sale (thank you!!!!)! Our furniture was delivered so quickly and efficiently. It was truly such a great experience! Highly recommend!!!! :D”

“This is an excellent thrift store! The atmosphere and item curation are boutique-y, while the prices are very reasonable. When I was browsing it seemed like a majority of items are in the $10-20 range. It's also a wonderful nonprofit. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“This is a magical little spot. I've wandered in when I happen to need something like a new kitchen utensil, clothing article, any other household odd or end, and I almost always end up finding it here. They are also a great place to lighten your load if you don't mind that you may need to schedule weeks in advance. The best part is that the staff are so kind and always seem to be in good spirits. It's always a joy. :)”

“Workshop Vintage is one of my top 5 stores in Portland! Their selection, price point, multiple themed collections, and general vibe are incredible. The displays are tantalizing and they update and rotate stock regularly so you will always find something new. Audra is a gem, and the fact that I own my own gift shop on the other side of town and am still excited to travel far north to shop at someone else's store should emphasize my love for this place.”

“Editing my initial rating after revisiting this large antique mall. My recent visit was wonderful. The folks who worked there were so sweet and I had such a good experience. This place is very large and the vendors clearly work incredibly hard to curate some really beautiful vintage. Give yourself time to wander. Lots of MCM/boho styles in particular. Got some lovely things and will be back next time I’m in town.”

“Why purchase new lower quality items for a higher price when you can buy high quality upcycled items for a discount? This woman owned business provides a peaceful space for people to carefully select pieces that make them feel beautiful, while also feeling good about their purchase. Check out one of their hosted 'Sip & Shops', an event to browse the racks and enjoy some bubbles at the same time. You can also snag some of the highly sought out items from Baggu and Borough Homes here. Try the borough home perfume rollers (trust me ). See you again soon! Thanks for my treasures!”

“One of my favorite vintage stores and the owner is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in this town. I went in to browse and buy but walked out with a sweet friend. The first fur coat I bought from her is a head Turner and a conversation starter. All of her collection is handpicked and genuinely priced. I go there regularly and send my friends there too, if you are in Portland and love vintage this is a must visit store.”

“I have been shopping at Red Fox for a long time and always enjoy my experience. It’s fun and the people are always friendly without crowding me. I like to shop and listen to their great taste in music. I think they could use some new blood as some of the spaces seem a little stale. All in all good fun.”

“Love love LOVE this place! They have so many different things they offer, from furniture, clothing, knickknacks, toys and more! I highly recommend checking them out! Prices are very reasonable!”

“This is my go-to local shop for all things baby/child. I can’t tell you how many gifts I’ve creatively gathered up for children’s birthday parties, baby showers, holiday toy drives, etc. I manage to walk out spending way less than retail pricing and I feel really good about supporting a local business and participating in the concept of less waste/reusing. This is a definite MUST for families and anyone buying for little ones (even if you aren’t a parent).”

“Gives off Vintage-Botique vibes! All very curated. Organized by color which was nice and easy. Very clean, fun, bright aesthetic. Owners are very personable and know their stuff. Pieces were mostly truly vintage. Impressive range in styles and clothing sizes for the size of the store. Prices are a little high but still within the realm of reasonable for the area. Would absolutely stop in again! One of my favorites places to thrift on Hawthorne.”

“I adore this little gift shop, mostly for the service it provides to the seniors at the Hollywood Senior Center. The gift shop helps support local senior crafters who sell their handcrafted items on consignment. It also benefits the center's programs and services through the sale of items donated to the store. There is a completely random selection of merchandise such as scarves, hats, aprons, baby clothes and toys, household items, small appliances, books and more. And the best part is the prices! It's not uncommon to find dishes and candle holders for 0.10 cents, or books for 0.25 cents. The handcrafted items run the gamut in pricing, but it all goes to a good cause. I'm committed to doing what I can to help seniors in my community, so shopping here and donating items for them to sell is the least I can do. But mostly, it's fun gossiping with the senior volunteers who run the store.”
