So far so great! First impressions are key, and our first visit went wonderfully from start to finish. I feel like my dog was very cared for, and the exam was thorough. I walked away with a good understanding of our care plan and exactly what we're focusing on for my elderly dog. Will be booking an appointment for the cat soon as well!

I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago to do a quality of life check for my beloved 18-year old Siamese cat, Mickey. Dr. Andrea and Ellen were thorough and talked us through all the options available to us. I ended up putting my sweet Mickey to rest that day, and I am so thankful for the patience and compassionate care throughout the whole experience.
They also sent a thoughtful card and beautiful flowers in memory of Mickey, which was such a sweet and beautiful touch.
Deep appreciation and gratitude for this place and the loving, kind staff there. Highly recommend.

You are so blessed to live in Portland and have access to this wonderful team and clinic. I have moved to Eugene and I miss this practice so much! Over the years, all my cats and dog have felt safe here and they have provided the best mix of holistic and conventional medicine I could ask for. We had access to whatever care we needed whether acupuncture, chiropractic, nutrition, dental work or surgery under one roof where all the vets and staff came to know me and my animals. They offer the best of all worlds, are sensitive to each animal's needs and always kind. I am deeply grateful to this team!

We've seen plenty of different veterinary offices over the years and this is hands down the best. They offer both holistic and conventional therapies and take the time for you to understand the options. Their care in the office and post procedures is outstanding. Thank you for caring for our pups so well.

We love Two Rivers Vet Clinic and their team! A night and day difference from our other vet experiences. Their fear-free approach helped our highly-anxious pup manage appointments and get on the right track with medication. They even aided us in the long process of organizing travel paperwork for our pup to fly overseas with us when we moved (which she did very successfully!). Thank you Dr. Davies, Sabrina, and the whole staff– we appreciate you all immensely!!

Very caring vets and staff. They worked me in today to examine my cat who had stopped eating. The news wasn't good, but Dr. Davies helped me make a plan for Xander's care that made sense to me and sensitive to kitty's needs. I really felt the love and affection they all have for animals. Receptionists are amazing too - super friendly and down to earth.

Our previous dog had a significant health/immune issue early in life which led us to spend a lot of time at various veterinary offices, specialists, and holistic care. The holistic care she received was phenomenal, we learned a lot and from then on we found a lot of value in blending traditional/holistic methods for our dogs as well as for ourselves. Fast forward several years and we have a new puppy. With a great appreciation for health and wanting to provide the best care possible for our new family member we wanted to start her out with holistic/blended care right away. We found Two Rivers online. This practice seemed to have a lot of good reviews and recommendations. We had a few red flags before booking and I should have listened to them. The hefty, nearly $200. non-refundable exam fee paid up front, and the fact that they do not have much in the way of diagnostic tools on hand such as being able to do any lab work or x-rays. We went forward and booked our appointment. The experience was lackluster and I am still puzzled why this is considered a holistic office. It struck me as a traditional office through and through and the past holistic veterinary experiences were vastly different. The flea/heartworm/tick and vaccine recommendations are the same as at a traditional vet. One of the foods that was recommended for our dog was not organic, basic, contained added vitamins not from food sources, and was heavy in white rice which is highly glycemic and inflammatory. They had pamphlets ready to go which was off putting. Some of the chews being recommended contained antibacterials. Since these are being swallowed/consumed this poses a threat to the micro biome in the mouth and throughout the digestive system. On the whole we are disappointed and had different expectations based on our current knowledge and experience with holistic care.

This past year my aging group of pets have had some health issues that have me at my vet more than usual. Dr Davies and Dr Curran have both worked with me with compassion and understanding. Dr Davies had faith in my kitty with a swollen bump on his nose. She sent me to a specialist to get a second opinion. I left there in tears as she guessed it was a tumor and he had only months to live. Dr Davies had an experienced, gut feeling and had me try support options. The swelling went away and my happy, healthy 13 year old beloved kitty is vibrant and just fine now. I really admire Dr Davies' educated, determined approach. It's not some magical thing she did( although my heart thinks that) it was her articulate, knowledgeable ideas to pursue all possibilities. Dr Curran is gentle and kind. My 14 year old dog has a tumor and I just couldn't face the cost to have oncology and surgery costs. So she kindly has us set up with support for this good dog. But on a return visit something she said to me about this gracefully aging dog has spurred me to seek out more help and probably the surgery. The sympathy and understanding these vets have is tremendous. Dr Curran is thorough and garners trust of my pet's as well as me. She has my full confidence and admiration. I must also mention the front desk staff Libby and Sabrina. Wonderful women. These are just the most recent experiences. I've been using 2 Rivers well over a decade. This is an exceptional vet clinic.

I've been taking my pets (lots) here since they were founded. They are by far the best vets that I've ever had!I feed my animals a semi-raw diet, and as a holistic vet, they recommend it. They do not over-drug and always discuss options including non-pharmaceutical therapies. Most importantly, they listen. The entire staff is outstanding! If you're looking for a new vet, I would highly recommend!

Dr. Davies is the best vet I’ve had. She shows extreme care and empathy with our pets and is so knowledgeable. I honestly feel lucky that our pets get to have her in their lives!

We’ve tried several vets in town, and Two Rivers is the best. We’ve been going here for 4+ years now. Both of our cats see Dr. Strom, who is incredibly kind, caring, and patient. All the vet techs we’ve seen here have been great, but Amber is our favorite, and I always know our cats are in god when she’s on staff with Dr. Strom during a surgery. Both Libby and Sabrina at the front desk are super friendly and knowledgeable about quality pet food, supplies, medication, literally anything you could ask them. The entire staff is consistently going above & beyond. I appreciate always getting a follow-up phone call from a tech or often from Dr. Strom herself — that personal touch really makes such a difference. I feel like Two Rivers really cares about their clients, both human and non!
