You won't find anywhere else the exceptional design and quality of Tufenkian rugs! I bought a 9x12 silk and wool rug. It is so gorgeous! It gave a luxurious look to my living room the moment I opened it - it is a great peace of art with so detailed hand work and carefully chosen colors and so much luster! I ordered the sample of the rug before I bought it - but never thought that the real big one will so much exceed my expectations! I was kind of hesitant paying the higher price of it, but after receiving the rug, i think it is 100% worth it. It is true, you pay what you get. Talking of the customer service. Peter Kizyma was super helpful answering to all my questions and giving recommendations.

I ordered eight, 3x5 rugs from the Tufenkian online store to use as carpet tiles in my basement renovation. The process has been overly complicated. I received one rug when the shipment stated that two would arrive together. I learned after the fact that they only had 7 and their online stock wasn’t correct. They refunded me for the missing rug. The color of the one rug received seemed darker than pictured. It turns out they use extreme lighting in their online images (see attached pictures). I emailed Dave to inquire and was sent pictures showing the lighting differences. Okay, so Dave and I made a plan to let the other 6 rugs arrive to compare variations. However, directly after emailing, he, or someone from Tufenkian, deliberately called UPS and had that shipment returned to sender. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to judge one singular rug of the 8 I ordered for my project, which is now going to be behind due to this being done without my consent. The last note I’ll leave is that I perceive a condescending tone in correspondence. I ordered the archive rugs for a steep discount and this fact has been mentioned more than once, as if I shouldn’t complain since I didn’t pay full price. The rug is plush, darker, but plush, but this experience has been a headache.

Sona was great! Due to the pandemic I purchased totally online. Sonia cheerfully spent the time to research my specific request and the best pad to use over wall to wall carpet. Sona kept in contact with me throughout throughout the transaction involving transcontinental shipping. A great shopping experience with a great product. Sona is the best!

I had a wonderful experience working with Sona at Tufenkian. Due to the pandemic, I purchased 100% virtually and had rugs shipped via UPS. Sona was exceptionally helpful, patient and responsive throughout the process. My first selection didn't work for me, and Sona was extremely understanding and helpful in arranging the return after my "Test Drive", and in helping me select another piece which ultimately was the right fit for my needs. The rugs I received are incredibly beautiful, and the service was top notch. I can't recommend them enough, whether you're in Portland or anywhere else.(I was also told that the one star reviews here are due to cyberbullying arising in connection with an unrelated cultural dispute involving the Tufenkian foundation, and are not from actual customers.)

Wow what a wonderful experience working with Sona on rugs for my home. She really knows her rugs and had me test drive a rug I would not have thought of. We loved it. Such a beautiful quality rug. She was so responsive and with me every step as I made my choices. All the rugs are amazing quality and my family and I are over the moon happy. The rug pads are a must as well. I will highly recommend Tufenkian to all my friends and family. Back in the day Nordstrom was known for outstanding service. I would say Tufenkian is the Nordstrom of rugs number one in service. I will buy my next rugs from Sona at Tufenkian.

We recently purchased a home and are starting to look for furnishings including rugs/carpets, so we decided to stop by the Tufenkian showroom to get a sense of pricing, style, and quality. We worked with Tyler who was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We have yet to purchase a rug but hope to in the near future as we get settled. Tufenkian has a beautiful selection and great customer service from what we experienced.

The seller started to argue with me when I asked several questions about the cultural property law of the rugs. Seems like they have stolen the oriental ornaments and selling it as another nation's works of art. That is unacceptable and against the law! Also, arguing seller was a proof of low customer service.
