Danielle, along with Jean and the rest of the staff at Trailhead deliver excellent customer service. I was very happy with my experience this morning opening a couple of accounts and working with such helpful staff.

I always have a good experience here. The staff are friendly, good-humored, and professional. And they seem to have $2 bills any time I need them.

Trailhead as a whole is a terrible, disorganized, incompetent institution.

In person, pre-pandemic they were great. Now that I live in the suburbs 30 minutes from a branch it’s infuriating because every time I have to call, I get some third party call center rep and get transferred 3-4 times without any resolution. I’ve been locked out of my account for over a month because I got a new phone number. I’ve spent hours on the phone and have been told numerous times that someone “from the back end” would contact me back and haven’t heard back. Time to head in and close my account down and take my money elsewhere I guess. It’s sad because I like to support small local businesses and enjoyed seeing this one grow but the call center is too wretched and it’s unacceptable to not have access to your own money.

Avoid this place at all costs. They placed my checking account for collections, whatever, cool, I owed them some money. Now I've paid it in full, and they are fraudulently reporting to the credit unions that I still owe a balance MONTHS after I paid. I've reported it to the BBB, CFPB, and disputed it with the credit bureaus- and they still are lying about the status of my account.

A bank is a bank is a bank, non-profit banks like credit unions are incredibly profitable ventures. Their status is spun as a positive, but it is just another bank. Today they had an "Upgrade" to their online banking and it is a useless, weird, series of changes that result in a much less clear website. Apparently it is good for "mobile banking", the dumbest banking option for anyone with basic safety in mind.

Most associates are friendly, except for one or two who were pretty rude (I'm a patient, polite person, while also being clear and direct). My main complaint is that anytime something goes wrong (fraudulent charges on my card, etc), I have to shuttle from one call to another to another, either waiting for returned calls or calling other numbers to get the issue resolved. It's messy and time consuming.

Do not bank here. After putting a travel notice on my account, my card was frozen after I arrived to my destination. 3 separate times. The second time I was in a 3rd world country, and the experience was slightly traumatic. The third time was expected, so I was prepared. I recommend not to depend on this bank when traveling internationally. After setting up direct deposit to pay my rent (which the teller helped me fill out "correctly") took money from my landlord and deposited it into my account. You can imagine how surprised they were when our rent was due. Their account was charged additional overdraft fees for the transaction. I could not access my statements online, so I had to call to see if they could print them out for me. They said they could send it in the mail, but they would charge me. I mentioned that is illegal, and they agreed not to charge me. They only sent statements for one of the two accounts I requested, so I had to call again and ask for the second statement to be printed. When I went in person to pick it up, they again tried to charge me. It is important to note they could not email the statements because the files were too big. My card was recently declined, and I found out it was frozen due to a company wide security breach. I had to go to them, they did not notify me first. Red flag. I don't consider myself one of those people who have things go wrong all the time, or go through life with unrealistic expectations. It's not me, it's the bank.

If you want your bank to answer the phone, or respond to an email, do not bank with Trailhead CU. My account has been frozen for over a week, and no one has yet responded to multiple daily calls and voicemails and emails. I'm now having to find time during their short weekday hours to go visit them in person, during a spike in Covid-19 cases. Cool cool cool.

This is worst credit union ever. Super rude and poor communication. During the begining of covid lockdowns when i went to get my rent money out of the account the refuesed to give me MY money and had the nerve to ask what i was spending it on. Lol. Then when I applied for a credit card IN PERSON they said they would call back and never did. Super unprofessional. Needless to say i closed my account after just 2 years.

The bank itself is fantastic, the third party or whoever they have answering the phones is occasionally somewhat helpful, but generally terrible.
