Customer service is terrible. I shopped there on 12/19/22 and needed plumbing assistance. I requested 3 times and I heard it announced overhead but no one came. Customer service told me the manager would meet me in the aisle and they never showed up so I left the store after about an hour of wasted time.

Small space, but the decor is very much to my liking. Although the cleanliness is much to be desired! The food is meh, consisting mostly of Ramen noodles and Yasso ice cream bars. There is an ADORABLE black cat who lives here. The drugs and alcohol are plentiful which is nice to stave off the excruciating depression. The clothing is cute, however most are unwashed and in piles on the floor. The wifi connection is strong, which I appreciate as i spend most of the time here binge-watching shows and using social media as a main source to connect with people. The views of spring are stunning from my window. As I cannot go anywhere, it's nice to imagine what I might be doing

I paid for a washer..they were supposed to deliver it on a ftiday..they said they tried but they went to the wrong house. I had to reschedule. On the reschedule date, the same thing happened...then it's my job to try to track them down, not the stores. This is the single worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!! I will never buy from them again!!

Our refrigerator failed so we went to Home Depot to find a new one. We dealt with a pleasant employee who assured us that our choices were good and that delivery would be easy. (This was important to us because we had no way to refrigerate our food, except with store bought ice and a picnic cooler). We wound up ordering and paying for two appliances because they had a $75 rebate so we also purchased a new range. We left very happy with our selection and the date for delivery. I even wrote glowing reviews on yelp and Google (that I have since removed). Everything that could have gone wrong since our initial visit has gone wrong. Our refrigerator was supposed to come Tuesday July 5. We were given a window of time for delivery (12:30-4:30). As 4:30 drew closer we got an email that the truck that was being used for delivery had "broken down" and that delivery could not be made. We called a Home Depot service rep who told us that now all she could do would be to schedule the delivery for another full week away. We argued that we were being penalized for someone's "broken truck" and now we are being put to the end of the queue though this is someone's else's fault, not ours. The service rep was no help at all so I asked to speak with someone with authority. After a long wait we got to someone in the "Resolutions" department (in Atlanta). She put us on hold and came back to tell us that she could move up our delivery date to Tuesday July 12. oookay. On July 11 my h and I were sitting in a restaurant and he gets a text that our delivery is being rescheduled to Thursday because "Unfortunately, there has been a delay in getting our appliance order into our local warehouse". Now, why would that be? Where did "our" refrigerator that was supposed to be on the broken truck go? It is sounding like a pack of lies now for sure. We left the restaurant and went straight to Home Depot to cancel our order completely. We went to the appliance department and I overhead the employee on the photo cancelling another appliance order. Well, this will go quickly I thought. No. Nearly an HOUR later after dealing with 2 employees we finally got a piece of paper that stated we have a pending cancellation for both appliances. One employee ("Gabe") who left to discuss the matter apologized when he came back from wherever he went. He said "OH! I thought you were trying to get a refund today"! (which is preposterous, we never said that at all! We know and understand that refunds take awhile to reach the bank. So Gabe had us stand there for next to an hour trying to do something we had not at all asked for! We just wanted a paper that said what the appliances cost and that it was cancelled! It should have taken 10 minutes at the most. About this time a younger employee wearing a "Coach" pin on her Home Depot apron shows up to breezily ask how she can help. We told her briefly what our issues are and right away she says "shipments are difficult because of cargo ships and Covid". We've been told three different times that we were in the queue for delivery. If they have "Covid" issues, tell us that instead of that the "truck broke down" and all the other sundry vague reasons. BE HONEST. The truth is likely that Home Depot sells refrigerators that the DO NOT HAVE and then they screw around with you, hiding behind emails and texts that are never clear about WHY you can not get what you ordered. DISHONEST.

Worst customer service I've ever received. No one wants to help you do anything. Took almost 20 minutes to help get my house key copied. Probably 10 employees walked by me without saying a word so I finally asked for help, to which the reply I got was "I'm not a key associate" if they didn't need an employee log in I could've done it easily. Won't go back here.

-went to buy pressure washer Sunday March 27th around 9am. Employee says wait in front will bring it down. I wait and pressure washer is brought up. I'm told to go find a cart to load it up. I make a lo around ayote nomad don't see any. I ask the employee to please help and she just stares dumbfounded for a while then leaves and doesn't return. I follow a customer who has a cart and ask to use theirs since they were leaving. I then have to load my own pressure washer off the lid. The lady who put in on the lift destroyed the box and who knows if product is damaged. I have a job Monday and my other pressure washer broke so need this one. I go to check out and want to use my pro extra credit card for 4X points and $50 off purchase for using it after applying . For some reason it doesn't work. Attempted by three different cashiers then finally a manger is called. Manager says nothing they can do and it says right on screen to call credit services. They do not call. The solution is say sorry and just stare quietly. I'm finally upset after being in the store for 40mim and just pay cash. Now I go out to my truck, can't get help losing product and have a customer help me. This store has the worst experience of all Home Depot's in the portland metro area. This store has great rental center but for in store purchases I warn all to avoid this location. Huge lock of knowledge of location of products. Lack of knowledge how to communicate with people. People at cash registers always seem to need 1-3 people and a manger for all transactions. At what point do you hold you management team accountable to train employees and run a store properly? All said and done I couldn't use my pro extra credit card or get my points and $50 off, had to use cash because a manager can't read instructions on a screen to call credit services. It's an embarrassment to be associated with you guys but your my closest location. How can this be fixed? Every time I buy something here which is 1-2x a week it's a bad experience. Only time it's good if I manage to find a product without dealing with any employees unless I'm rental department and go to self checkout. This store is a wreck.

Worst customer service EVER! I was looking for metal garden edging and called several Home Depot stores, being told it was not available. My contractor called the Mall 205 location just a few minutes later and was told it was in stock OK?? So we go to purchase and waited for an hour for customer service, as the edging was not accessible. We asked several employees to assist and were told we'd have to have someone else help or they knew nothing about edging yet they're working the garden center! Finally we got some assistance from a very kind and helpful sales associate only to find out that the brown edging we were told was in stock was actually black but the brackets to hold in place were brown, no black brackets available. We will have to do with the miss-match and then checking out was another 45 minutes as the pricing was 3x higher then what was available on Amazon and an assistant manager was called. Her communication skills were challenging and we were made to feel like a bother. I've worked retail for over 22yrs. and if my staff had behaved like this, I would have let them go! Whats unfortunate is this is the Home Depot experience I'll remember and in the future, will be reluctant to spend my money at these stores. Sad!

I'm a Pro customer, so I got into the line where the banner said "Pro" the clerk asked me if I had a phone order and when I said no, he told me I should go to a regular checkout line. I told him I had things here waiting from the locked cabinet for the power tools and he said I'll go ahead and help you but your stuff is at a regular check stand since that's where you should go because we do online and phone orders only here. I pointed up at the large sign that said Pro Desk. He walked off. While he was gone a woman found my stuff exactly where I said it would be and apologized for him saying he was new. Bad training isn't an excuse. I don't care if this location wants to process online and phone orders at the Pro desk but I don't want to feel like I am hassling the clerks by doing what I am supposed to do with my Pro Card......

Two staff members really made me feel safe and taken care of. Evette and Gabe! A man who seemed to be very angry at life, got into my face for no reason and yelled at me to "take off my mask." Then proceeded to rant and rave spewing his unmasked spit all over. They asked me so many times if I was ok. (This was caring!) And answered all my home fix-it questions with care. Basically escorting me around the store. It can be a little intimidating to be in a huge store like that when you are just learning about projects and your new home's needs!! Led alone being yelled at, randomly by some weirdo. I appreciated their attention to me and addressing the situation. Thank you both.

Me and boyfriend came in for a piece of wood and cuts to be made for a cob oven project. The female coach in the hardware section (apologizes for not catching her name) was super helpful and directed us to the discount section since we were looking for a small piece. We ended up finding the perfect one too! We then had the pleasure of working with Nii in the hardware section and he was amazing! So helpful and his assistance was very much appreciated!

I bought a fridge and apparently the payment did not process properly and so it never came come delivery day. I was frustrated and upset. The store sent me a loaner and that wasn't working. But Kylie and Gabe helped make things right and got me another loaner fridge to hold me over until the new one comes. I understand mistakes happen and it's not anyone's fault but it was a poor experience to start. But they really tried to help me and got me a working fridge. I appreciate their efforts and understanding.
