Used to love coming here. Not so much anymore. Workers used to have knowledge about plants. Not so much anymore. Or maybe they just don't want to bother with questions and help. No matter... going to Portland Nursery from now on.
Also... I bought a bunch of million bells in June that ended up covered with aphids. Then I got a gift card at the end of July. I decided to replace these aphid covered plants as it seems nothing will stop the bugs and the insecticidal spray ends up wilting the blooms and plants. I could not get a recommendation for what to replace these plants. I came here at 9am on Friday. There was not a bunch of customers. Still... I did not get much help when asking about this problem.

I LOVE their hanging baskets! Tony's is the only place I'll buy them from, and they always have a good deal on them (buy two, get one free).

I love Tony’s but the last few visits I’ve noticed the vine plans (the honeysuckle vine I bought) is saturated with Aphids!! I let the register gal know and she said she would inform her staff.
I bought the vine anyway for $32!
I sprayed it with aphid spray that I bought from Tony’s in hopes that this plant can be saved. I don’t know if there is some kind of warranty incase this plant dies.
Please give your expensive vine plants more love and attention! ☀️

Parking is limited. Check out staff's customer service ( lack of warmth) was noted. Good variety of plants including house plants.

We ? Tony’s !They need cameras in main parking area, we spent over $1000 fixing dents in our car from inconsiderate customers !

Feels like a friend or family yard situation then the "big brand nursery"
Even though they have some huge locations
The staff is so friendly & helpful
And cheerful even in 90 degrees
This is my go to for my green hand needs all the locations are great ?

Tony's is a fantastic Nursery. It has quite possibly the best selection of Tomato starts in Portland. They also have an amazing selection of hanging baskets.

I visited looking for indoor plant pots and found a really nice selection, with a range of reasonable prices. The checkout people were friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to come back by to see the plant selection.
