This place is great! The classes are very reasonably priced, the instructors are encouraging, energetic, and great with kids. I should also mention that it's spotlessly clean!

I went for my first ever martial arts class this week. Joey was an incredible teacher, so kind and patient, willing to answer any and all questions. I felt very welcomed and comfortable in the space and with the other students. Everyone was required to wear a mask which made me comfortable being at an in person class. I love their emphasis on inclusivity and acceptance. I will definitely be starting my journey here and will be bringing some friends that have also shown an interest in martial arts with me to future classes.

"For a long time, I’ve felt that there was a trauma in my early life. Although I didn’t have conscious access to a memory of it, the patterns of my unconscious behaviors through decades of my life strongly suggested it’s realness. I’ve never felt safe enough with another person, or with myself, to get to the heart of it. Todd’s incredible ability to remain neutral and uphold strong boundaries, created a sense of safety that I’ve never known with a professional before. The outpouring of genuine softness and the authentic un-directed emanating love that enveloped me as a recipient of treatment created the context my body needed to go to the scariest place inside of myself. Metaphorically, it felt like my adult-self was holding hands with the safest person I knew, and we were traveling back in time to the moment in my life that I felt the most terrified.I could re-associate and finish the cycle of trauma properly. In the days following treatment: I slept better, I felt improved sense of safety in my body and in my surroundings, I felt more relaxed in the moment and less ambitious (meaning satisfied and content, rather than goal-oriented and seeking).I am so grateful to Todd for the unimaginable number of hours he has clocked to become so proficient in this healing art. He shares his passion with humility, humor, integrity, professionalism, and respect. Todd has my highest recommendation as a Teacher and as a Practitioner."

I signed up with Todd Jackson to learn cranial sacral and took the first course taught by him and a pre-course taught by some of his advanced students. Although he knew in advance I wasn't "licensed to touch" he did not notify me in advance that he would not permit me to take classes with him beyond the first one. It's not a law or a liability, just a personal decision he made after accepting my money. I offered to get a religious license to touch in order to pursue the study of CS further, but he still chose to say no to my attending a cranial sacral 2 workshop with him. I believe I am owed a refund for misrepresentation of the options to study this practice through his course series. Other than that, I enjoyed the study which is why I'm so saddened and disappointed.

I discovered this school during the pandemic. Teacher Joey H. created a series of half-hour video lessons especially for this shut-in period of time. I've been following along and while I don't have prior experience with Kung Fu, I'm intrigued. The warm-up motions felt great for my body. I have a background in Ki-Aikido so I can visualize how these motions would translate into martial art moves. I also am enjoying Joey's innovative choice to play audiobooks as narration; it turns out The Martian is awesome as an audiobook and the combo of the story and the exercise has me hooked. Thanks for helping me stay active during this time when the gyms and yoga studios are closed!

Todd Jackson is a wonderful yoga teacher. His workshops are confidence building and informed. He is very patient with his classes and takes time to make sure we understand the safety, stability and nuances of the pose we are working on.
