“Amazing place to shop. Staff are so kind, the prices you can't beat anywhere in pdx. I'm a single mother of two boys and I came in one day and didn't have enough money and the guy gave me a giant discount and said it's a hard job I'm doing and everyone deserves a break.”

“Great experience here and got a great couch for my apartment. The gentleman was super helpful with my questions about material, feel, etc. Tape measures on site and he even helped me with measuring. Couch selection definitely varies so might be tough to find your needs but def worth a look. I did delivery and paid for assistance and they came the next day”
“I agree with another review that this place was a tad hard to reach with the way the streets around it are placed, however, once I was there I loved it. The store was very well organized and I was able to find a few items like a jacket and a large glass mixing bowl for reasonable prices. The charity to cats for adoption gets extra points-- they have a wall showing all the cats that got adopted out and its so cute.”
“This is an excellent thrift store! The atmosphere and item curation are boutique-y, while the prices are very reasonable. When I was browsing it seemed like a majority of items are in the $10-20 range. It's also a wonderful nonprofit. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“10/5 stars from me! I’ve always loved coming here, but was totally blown away by the sweet customer service today! My 5 week old was getting hungry and was crying at checkout. As I was getting ready to pay, the sweet lady at the register asked if I needed a quiet place to nurse him. Although I turned down the offer, I wanted to come on here and give PACS a shoutout for their thoughtfulness. Getting out with a baby that nurses frequently can be challenging at times- especially when there isn’t an ideal place to sit down and nurse! Thank you so much again for thinking of that. It truly made my day!”

“The Salvation Army in Gresham is a special place. From groups for women, activities for youth, a weekly dinner, and compassionate services for those in need in their community, they are truly making a difference. It's a great place to volunteer and get connected!”

The patience and dedication they demonstrate on a daily basis is truly amazing. Their non judgemental sincere concern and caring is evidence of their commitment to every individual who walks in their door asking for assistance. Instead of feeling like you are being given a handout based on pity you leave with the feeling someone honestly just wanted to give you a hand up and that they understand everyone goes through hard times. “Great spot to recycle old electronics safely + efficiently. Not a brick and mortar store anymore, which is disappointing, but glad they are keeping employees away from COVID, which is still rampant. “I've been coming to this store for many years! I just love this place! Great prices, awesome selection and amazing staff! I'd like to recognize one particular staff member that stands out. Her name is Allie and she can be found most days in the book room sorting out books and adding to the seldom empty bookshelves. Since she started working there the book department has become so much easier to navigate! Also, she really takes pride in her work and takes interest in the customers. She even asked me my name and asked me what kind of books I like! When I come so when I visit, she can point me in the right direction. I buy a lot of books from PACS because I sell books for a living. In the past, I would shop at PACS about twice a month. Now I'm there nearly every day directly because its so much better because of her energy there! Keep up the amazing work! I appreciate you!”

“My neighborhood goodwill might be small but has a pretty good selection of clothing and household items. I've found real bargains there and the prices are more than fair. You might have to do more searching or come in on multiple different days to find exactly what you're looking for, but it is totally worth it instead of paying the markup on new items.”
“What I love about Buffalo Exchange is the concentration of cool vintage and unique pieces. Unlike traditional thrift shops where you might have to sift through racks of less appealing items, Buffalo Exchange presents a higher chance of finding hidden gems without the tedious search.
While the prices may be higher than your average thrift store, you're paying for the curated collection and the ease of finding stylish and sometimes one-of-a-kind clothing. I’ve found some great pieces here that have become staples in my wardrobe.
