I was helped by Hilary and had an amazing experience. I had already been to several bridal shops and was starting to lose hope I’d find my dress, but Hilary was so patient with me and helpful! She walked me through each dress discussing the things I liked and didn’t and suggested possible changes or bringing in other possible options close to what we were discussing. I am so grateful to her for helping me find my dress!

This review is belated, but still worth sharing! I went dress shopping with my aunt and cousin in March 2024. We went to 6 different bridal shops and True Society really outperformed: client care, dress styles, dress choices, expert knowledge, and just the overall joyful fun vibe (yes, we did have some champagne!). While I was leaning towards an A-line dress, the team here just encouraged me to try a column dress - and that was just game over. I fell in love with the dress then and there. I slept on the dress, visited the other shops and came back to seal the deal! Everyone was very accommodating, kind, and just so lovely! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
Only other advice I'd give is maybe hold off on accessories for a bit as they are not returnable.

Definitely had my special bridal moment while shopping at True Society. It was nothing short of an amazing experience. HUGE thanks my consultant, Hilary, who went above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress.
For someone who 99% of the time dresses very casual, I was definitely nervous going to a bridal salon with so many beautiful choices. Hilary guided me expertly to the perfect dress for me without me ever feeling overwhelmed, uncertain or pressured. My party and I really had a fun time and Hilary played a huge part in making this day special. Truly an experience I’ll never forget.
Highly recommend this bridal salon and its amazing staff!!
(p.s. Two for two! I came here a couple years ago to help a close friend find her dress, her great experience here influenced me to buy from True Society as well)

I found the perfect dress here with my consultant Jordan! I was nervous as this was my very first dress shopping experience and she put me at ease. She helped me walk and pick out some dresses to start off with to get the vibe of what I was going for and all the ones she selected after that were perfect! I got to try on so many dresses and figure out what I liked or didn’t like easily. I also had a large group of ladies with me and they were able to accommodate for my large group & offered complimentary beverages. I found my dress and couldn’t be happier with it & my shopping experience.

My experience was so wonderful at True Society! They had so many beautiful dresses to please any style. They made me feel special and were all very welcoming. We worked with Sabrina and she was fantastic! Couldn’t recommend more.

I had the pleasure of working with Hilary to find my perfect dress! Before my appointment I sent a few inspo pictures and she already had a dress picked out for me. I browsed around and picked a few more to try on. I tried on the one she chose first and was instantly OBSESSED. I didn’t want to say yes right away so I tried a few other absolutely beautiful dresses. They were all amazing and it was a hard decision, but ultimately I said yes to the first one that Hilary had picked for me. I am SO happy with my decision! She definitely knows what she is doing! ?

I worked with Hillary and after finding two dresses that I really loved and had a hard time choosing between, she came back with one that was a perfect combination of what I loved in both dresses!! She was wonderful and I found my perfect dress!

Jordan talked with me on the phone prior to my appointment and it felt like she was genuinely interested in hearing about my life and my fiancé and obviously what I wanted in a dress. The day of my appointment I had a few extra people that wanted to tag along and they let them in no problem. Drink service was so sweet before the appointment and Jordan took her time picking out dresses with and for me. We found the one! I’m so excited to wear my dress and Jordan helped me feel confident I chose the right one ? definitely recommend true society to anyone looking for bridal dresses!

I had the pleasure to work with Emma and Alyssa to find my wedding dress. They made it the best experience I could’ve asked for! They never made me feel rushed, that I had to make a decision that day or that I was taking to much time, instead they put me in the dresses I liked over and over until I felt like I could pick the one I loved and answered all my questions. I ordered my dress and will have it with plenty of time before my wedding. If I had to do this all over again I would 110% come here. I will forever recommend this place!

If you are a bride in the Portland area, you HAVE to go to True Society. True Society was my first of two wedding dress appointments. I didn't realize how amazing the experience was until I went to another wedding dress shop, only to go BACK to True Society and find my dream dress.
I had Hilary as a stylist, and she was an absolute dream. She knew what I wanted before I even did, she is professional and personable, and made me feel so comfortable and confident in every dress- it was so hard to choose! However, what I think it came down to in the end was envisioning what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, because even though I could see myself in many dresses Hilary chose for me, I had to visualize what I wanted to look like on the day. Hilary pointed out many details that I would never have thought of to help that visualization.
Wedding dress shopping can be an overwhelming process with plenty of decision fatigue, but in many ways, Hilary made the process simple and exciting, and I wanted to go back to True Society just to make my decision with her because she made me feel assured in my decision. I cannot recommend True Society and Hilary enough.

Alyssa was amazing with our bride. First dress she tried on ended up being a big winner. Nothing set in stone as the mother of the bride is out of town. But we are thrilled to come back and say yes to the dress.

I found my dress with the help of Hilary whom I can’t stop thanking a million times over. When I first received a call from the ladies it was so personable and it made me feel really comfortable. So I was even more so excited to show up and all of the ladies there were graceful. The setting was amazing and my dress omg I can’t stop thinking about it and watching the videos back of me in it. Hilary did an amazing job listening to the feedback and the style that made me feel the most comfortable so I can dance lol. I can’t thank you all enough I’ll see you when my dress comes in??.

Maddy is the reason I was able to find my perfect dress! I tried on many styles (for funsies hehe) but knew I wanted off the shoulder sleeves and something flowy. One of the last dresses I tried on was the one I thought for sure was mine. I told everyone I could buy it without even seeing it in person. I was so bummed out when it ended up not looking flattering on me and was going to call it quits for the day and come back a different time. Maddy hyped me up and said she had the perfect dress in mind if I was up for trying. She brought back the dress of my dreams! As soon as she helped me in it her reaction was everything I needed, it was the one. She was really wonderful. I appreciated her excitement, honesty and that she checked in on how I was feeling throughout the entire appointment.
