I was so impressed with The E-bike Store! They are very intentional about which bikes they sell, only carrying the ones that have the best warranties and user friendly companies to work with. Andrew, who worked with us was amazing! I can’t remember ever talking with a more knowledgeable and personable sales person anywhere ever. He loves his job! He went with us to test drive several bikes over flat & bumpy streets and a little hill so we could put the different bikes through their paces.He gave us lots of tips and suggestions. He even recommended a place for lunch! If you go, ask for Andrew!

Can not say enough good things about these folks!
I came in having issues with a Bosch powered e-bike that I bought directly from the Trek dealer. The Intuvia display that came with my bike quit working despite being brand new. These folks had it sorted right quick and got me set up with a different mount to sync my phone to the bike.
They were also super enthusiastic about getting some fenders mounted (after the Trek store dragged their feet about doing it) and were honestly really fun to just hang out and talk to while work was being done.
They were pretty up front with their busy summer service schedule, but seemed both interested and willing to try some more experimental modifying once winter rolled around.
Next time I get a new e-bike I’ll be coming here!

Excellent shop with tons of knowledge and no pressure sales environment, pretty much the pinnacle of your friendly neighborhood bike shop. Got excellent battery advice on how to extend the life of my e-mtb, and no sales tax.. will probably recommend to my friends in Seattle to save 10% on their next bikes

Absolutely fantastic service. My bike feels better than brand new. The wheel work done on the bike with by. Jefferson was fantastic. If I have any future issues with my bike, this is where I’m going.

I had a very positive experience purchasing my new Specialized Vado. This is my first e-bike. Andrew led my partner and I through a test ride and was very thorough in asking questions and explaining details to ensure we were comfortable with the bike and also that what we purchased fit my needs. I recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase an e-bike!

Needed a flat fat tire tube replaced & a new rear brake rotor, and I was back on the road within a few hours! Great staff with fantastic interaction who offered info about my bike I didn't know. I expect to pay for expertise, and it was worth the fair price.

We stopped in for info on their bike options for a very specific set of medical conditions. They have a lot of great brands in stock as well as both belt drive and chain e-bikes. Derek was fantastic and took time to explain my best options and show me multiple bikes that would work and why. They also provide a 1-hour bike handoff appointment where they go over absolutely everything about your new bike so you know how to use the controls and immediately feel confident doing so. Really great service, would definitely recommend for anybody looking for an e-bike in the Portland area.

My wife and I had been shopping around for e-bikes for about a month. I had spent a fair amount of time watching reviews of various models and just kept coming back to the Specialized Turbo Vado 4. After test riding some less expensive brands, I wanted to ensure I experienced the difference between those bikes and what the Turbo Vado could do. I went in Saturday late afternoon and Sam and I took a test ride. The first thing that caught my attention was that he adjusted the seat and had me circle the parking lot a bit to gauge that it was set right. We took our test ride and I knew that was the bike for me. On Sunday I brough my wife in and we continued the testing, she tried several models and sizes. Andrew took us out for over two hours of riding, answered all of our questions, and was amazing to work with. It was a great buying experience, we never felt pressured, there was never any sense of smugness or arrogance as they explained all the nuances of different bike options. The people who work at the eBike Store really care about what they do, they are incredibly knowledgeable, and I could not have asked for a better test ride and buying experience. If you are looking for an ebike make sure you check out the eBike Store, you will not find a better team to help you find the bike that is best for you.

After visiting multiple bike shops and test riding several makes/models, my girlfriend and I decided to make our purchase from The eBike Store. We were interested in eMTBs and immediately they paired us with Andrew. He was easily the most knowledgeable of all of the people that we had spoken with about eMTBs. He listened to what we were interested in, offered no pressure advice, and was more than happy to take us on a test ride. After having all of our questions answered, we decided to make the purchase; however, my bike was in the warehouse and it was nearing the close of business. Normally we would just come back the next day, but we had traveled a significant distance to go to this bike shop and having to return at a later date would have been quite an inconvenience. Andrew and team went above and beyond to get the bike from the warehouse, perform a functional check, and give us a complete rundown of the ebike features (both on the bike and through the app) and how to properly maintain the bike, battery, motor, components, etc. This thorough rundown caused Andrew and team to work well beyond the shop's closing time! Simply put, the customer service was exceptional! After making sure we were completely satisfied and comfortable with our new bikes, he even walked us out and double checked that our bikes were correctly secured in our bike rack. The staff understand that these ebikes are a significant investment and they make sure their customers have the knowledge to keep their bikes in tip top shape to maximize fun!

I have purchased two bikes from the eBike Store. I am happy with their knowledge and their service.
However, I have issues with their follow-up when parts or accessories must be ordered.
Shortly after purchasing my first bike, I stopped by and talked to a tech about a suspension seat post. They didn’t have it in stock, so the tech was going to add it to an order. I called a few days later to ask about the status, and an employee was kind of short with me, telling me that I’d be called when it came in. I was never called and purchased it online.
Recently, I talked to a tech on the phone and went online to schedule a consultation service appointment. I took the bike into the shop and talked to a different tech. Some parts were not in stock—pretty common parts. He was going to order the parts and contact me. It’s been ten days, and I’ve heard nothing. So, I ordered the parts online, received them and am installing them myself.
Maybe the best advice is to consult to see what’s needed and order the parts yourself. Then, schedule a service appointment. If you’re uncomfortable determining the necessary parts and ordering them yourselves, you may consider a different shop.

Waste of time absolutely horrible customer service. Refused to sell me 54.6v 2.0a charger with a 2.1mm plug claiming it was “illegal” for him to do so because I did not buy the battery with the charger! Was just trying to upsale me. people like this are the worst literally lying right to your face to make a sale absolutely disgusting
