Tabor Accounting gets two Stars because they completed my wife and my personal taxes. That’s the only reason why. We have a home and a child and that’s it, nothing else. They said it took them almost 4 hours to do our taxes and charged me $750 after a discount. I have records of all my taxes for 30 years and it’s never taken longer than 2.4 hours or cost me over $500. I brought this up to them and the lady who called me a week and a half later showed no signs of caring.

Mark has taken a personal interest, always promptly answering my questions, helping with somewhat complicated family tax matters, and advising me. He looks at my fee for taxes as a fee for yearly service, not just an April 15 service. I appreciate their willingness to consider whatever questions I have.

Mark Tabor and his team are difficult and non responsive. Not to mention they made numerous errors on our return - like spelling our names wrong. You call that customer service when you don't even know the names of your clients. They were also terrible at handing off files to our new accountant. I would strongly advise finding a team that cares about their customers and these people are not it.

My experience was very frustrating. I hired Tabor to do my father's 2018 and 2019 taxes after he died in early 2020. It was difficult because the 2018 taxes were way overdue and we had none of the paperwork for 2018. Tabor would do none of the leg-work on getting the missing forms for 2018; I did it all myself. We had everything we needed for 2019, so that year was simple.
