This place is great. Sure sometimes they are a little grumpy and their english is a bit broken - but for the most part they are friendly and they have a surprisingly good wine selection for a little convenience store.

Rude man accused my fiancé of stealing when he took to go containers from his bag to pay at the counter. After explaining they were from elsewhere, the man slammed his beverages on the counter aggressively. Do not go here if you like carbonated beverages to remain unshaken.

A locally-owned mini-mart with a variety of products. Great cold drinks and a variety of items including pet supplies, coconut milk, pre-made food items. Disappointed by the other reviewers sense of entitlement and criticizing the family's communication skills. English is not their first language and it is not difficult to get your message across with a little patience.

I live close by and will no longer spend money here. Prices are mostly a mystery, up charge for card use, Nobody here speaks or seems to understand English, they sell paraphernalia geared towards hard drugs, check the dates on what you buy lots of expired stuff still on the shelf, Employees have asked me to help them out when a tweaker was inside causing a scene, I used to park next to this place but after having 2 vehicles stolen and multiple break-ins i asked if they could turn on the flood light on the side of the building even offered to pay to fix it if it were broken and I was just laughed at. This place is a joke save your money and headache shop anywhere else.

Pro-tips: when buying anything not sticker-labelled, take a picture of the product with the price under it. That way, when they overcharge you at the counter, you don't have to argue as long and can show them their price on your phone. I've lived close-by for a decade and I'd estimate I was overcharged for beer alone 3/5ths of the time (usually exactly a dollar more) once I started paying attention. If something doesn't have the price anywhere, be sure and ask how much it is first, or you will be sorry. 2 stars because Charlie is nice enough to give my kids a little candy when they come in.

We go here for drinks and there is more variety than one might expect. Also canned goods, pasta, cereal, chips and snacks. Service has always been pleasant.

Something to note is that a lot of these bad reviews are about miscommunication. The family that runs this spot does not speak English as their first language and sometimes doesn’t understand what you are saying at first. A little patience and understanding goes a long way, folks. Charlie is a wonderful man and shows his appreciation and kindness in the ways that are available to him. Sunny’s has an awesome variety of products past that of your usual convenience store, with a great selection of beer. I always think about how much my heart will break when I no longer live near Sunny’s.

I just bought a house nearby and, unfortunately, I can't patronize this place. The man behind the counter is so utterly nasty that it's just too stressful to deal with him, even for a simple transaction. He barks at you if you don't pull out your wallet out fast enough and won't give you a receipt if you ask. Three miserable experiences with the gentleman, and I'm done. Avoid.

Worst customer service tried to use my food stamp card I told the guy at the register I have 6 dollars left on my food stamp card and cash for what ever was left he said that's fine and continues to yell at me because he ran It wrong I would go to pladpantery just two blocks down the road I called when I got home to talk to a manager he hung up on me was there 430pm on the 15th
