Beautiful room with some exceptional views and lighting at sunset. The owner was very communicative and friendly, and her instructional video was helpful. The room itself is very spacious, I'd guess at least 12-foot ceilings. We started shooting around 7pm, so the natural light coming through the window wall was awesome. Interior lighting is ceiling cast, very yellow, I'd say around 4800k. Also, there is a Bluetooth stereo in the room which was great! Walls and floor were all hardwood and bare; keep that in mind if you plan to record video/audio. There's a back room with some useful equipment, plenty of seating, a changing portion and yeah, just a great place. Definitely will be shooting here again.

After closing my own photo studio in the summer of this year (in 2023), I still needed a space to continue providing headshot and portrait photography services, and luckily, I found the Studio Northwest! The space is nice and clean! Well taken care of! Management is good and communicative!They have lots of accessories that are helpful, and I don't have to carry everything for each photoshoot (like C-stands, sandbags, backgrounds, etc.). They don't provide lighting (but I always use my own, so that's ok!). The reservation process is easy and clear.The only "downside" for me is that coming in and out can be little stressful, as it's on a 5the floor and you need to call on call box, then grab a key fob etc. And if you have 1 hour reservation, you are really tight in time to carry all your lighting gear. (It's especially stressful for me as my old Studio was in a 1st floor and I had a direct quick access, so kinda need to get used to this one:) but other than that all is good!I just hope they can add some extra minutes on the reservation time for us to carry all the lighting gear in and out..Hope to have a long-term collaboration! ?

Beautiful space! Exactly what I needed for an intimate portrait session. The natural light in the studio is gorgeous. The extensive variety of furniture, props, and other materials makes this place so easy to use. They really thought of everything, from a waiting area fitted with teas and water, to a dressing area with great lighting, to a set of small speakers so you can play music during your session. Also really good communication around what to expect, where to park, how to check in and out. There's really just only good things to say about this place. I will absolutely use Studio Northwest again in the future when the need arises.

Space was exactly what I needed and the rental process was thoroughly explained in multiple communications with the venue. There were lots of seating options and the windows were big and bright and perfect. I will definitely be back!

Great people managing this space! I can't say enough about them! Wonderful light, great backgrounds, panels, props, and chairs, etc. Overall a great experience. Read the access info carefully, it took me awhile to get that right. Nice that they provide a cart and elevator for moving gear in and out. I was happy, my model was happy and I will be back.

We used Studio Northwest's space for our company's headshots and it was a seamless (no pun intended) process! There are quite a few steps to get inside the studio but they were all listed out in great detail. Will use again!

Have always loved the light in this space. This studio is a perfect spot for both natural light photography or studio light. Also always felt well supported by the management.

Studio Northwest is one of my favorite studios to rent in Portland. Communication from the studio is detailed, clear and fast. Pricing is great. Most importantly the space is clean and has a lot of great furniture props, grip, and beautiful window light. Dedicated on-site parking by the building entrance is nice and very convenient.

Beautiful space, great light, easy parking, affordable, and very clean! Rolling backdrops are good colors and seamless are available. You should probably bring an assistant to help with the elevator if you are going to have a lot of clients coming and going throughout a whole day, but it's an easy in and out with one client. Hosts are responsive and helpful. Thank you! I will be back.

I've booked Studio NW several times and will keep coming back! They are amazing to work with...so quick and responsive and just lovely overall. I still can't get over how well appointed the studio is - they have literally thought of everything you could need. Makes it so much easier to do the studio shoots when you have so many props and accoutrements already on site so you don't have to haul every single last thing. The natural light is fab and the overall size is incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is our absolute favorite studio to shoot in. The natural light is perfect and there are so many different ways to utilize the space. The team at Studio NW is overly communicative and on top of things and they take great care of the space. I can't think of a scenario that that this space wouldn't work for. Definitely worth it!
