Steve was referred to us by our friends and we’re very glad they did so. We wanted someone who had experience but who was also trustworthy, and that’s exactly what we got in Steve. His 30+ years of working in the home/mortgage industry provided us with a lot of useful and insightful information that we utilized on our current home purchase, as well as what we’ll consider in any future home buying decisions. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he’s an honest and caring person too. He had our best interests in mind with every step of the process and that really showed on a couple of different occasions, which we’re beyond grateful for. To keep it simple, we will be recommending Steve to anyone who is in need of a Loan Officer and we will continue to work with Steve going forward. Steve Landis and his assistant, Tatia made my home buying process a breeze. I had no idea what I was doing or even what I was getting myself in to. I had spoken with a few other people and was a bit weary on how my questions were being answered. Steve was a recommendation to myself from a loyal customer at my job and he did not disappoint. One of my favorite things about Steve, was that he'd reach out every few weeks or so to see how I was doing, to answer any questions that came to my head as I was going through the process and to update me on any changes to the market. Newly retired and still adjusting to not having regular payroll income, I wasn’t sure I could even qualify for a mortgage. I’ve bought and sold a number of homes, but my diverse sources of income in retirement presented a puzzle. Steve guided me through the process step by step and found solutions to all the challenges we bumped into. The professional, expertise and dedication from Steve and Tatia are the reason I am once again a homeowner. Steve wrapped a multitude of unique assets into a clear financial picture positioning me in the best light to the underwriters. As a homebuilder it is imperative that we have a lending source that is able to deliver on what they promise to the client. Steve and his team always do just that. Their attention to detail and their knowledge of the rates and programs are second to none. Most important of all, Steve is honest and trustworthy, I believe this should be at the top of the list considering this is likely the largest and most significant purchase anyone will make in their lifetime.
