Been seeing Dr.Janz over a decade and hate to see him retiring. He has always been courteous and professional with me.

They are so nice and I felt like my provider Megan was so thorough and took time to go over everything with me. I highly recommend this place. My husband comes here too

Dr JEANA M. CROVER was absolutely horrible. After finding out some life changing health information this provider proceeded to be rude, condescending, and spoke so incredibly loud that I’m quite sure she violated HIPPA. I never want to set foot in this clinic again. While going through health issues you want a medical team (of Drs and healthcare workers) who’ll make you feel heard, who’ll help you understand what you’re going through, and who’ll speak to you with respect and not treat you as if you’re beneath them. I will tell anyone and everyone I know how disgusting and disturbing this experience was so that they don’t have to endure time spent with a provider who isn’t providing anything more than a bad day.

I was prescribed iron at another medical clinic and took it 7 months. Came here 7th month. He said I didn't need it any longer and never needed it and he wouldn't have prescribed it. I definitely did need it and it was prescribed to me by another doctor. I still need to monitor the levels but they did level out finally.
Thought it was ridiculous.

First and last time going to this clinic. I've never felt so uncomfortable in regards to discussing mental health. Absolutely no compassion. And on top of that, I wasn't even able to address an urgent MEDICAL issue because there isn't time in a new patient appointment.
I left in tears.

While it’s sometimes difficult to get someone on the phone and wait times for an appointment can be sometimes a month away, the treatment you get is personable, and the people there genuinely care about the work they do, and every time I go I get the impression that it isn’t just a job to them. I’ve gone here for my whole life, under two doctors, and I can’t say I’ve ever had a poor experience, or that I wasn’t given the best care possible. I do miss Doctor Rhonda Durant, but Doctor Jennifer Stager is just as good, as are all the support staff and nurses, in Triage and elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to go only once or twice, but a place to go for years for your health needs and long term help, as I think the greatest strength of South Tabor is the staff’s ability to get to know you. They remember you, which really shows how much they care. And really, that makes all the difference.

Had my first appointment at the practice recently with Jennifer Stager and I left feeling so happy and heard! She really takes the time to get to know you and listen to you. Over the past few years I’ve had some really negative experiences with doctors who were very dismissive and rushed so I was worried it would happen again but this was a breath of fresh air. Nurse Stager is so patient and doesn’t rush her time with you. She makes you feel seen and heard and is also very thorough. So grateful I found her!

Medical care was fine but then I ran into the brick wall of the support staff. Five calls were not returned resulting in my running out of necessary medication and no referral to a dermatologist for diagnosed skin cancer was followed through with. On one occasion I was on hold for 45 minutes only to be transferred to a line that was not answered. This was by a receptionist that very clearly was irritated that I had called and bothered her. They stated they would call back within 48 hours and did not. I see no other option than going into the clinic and filing a formal complaint.

This place has zero availability. You will wait on hold for over 20 minutes just to get a talk with someone. Every time I visit it's a different provider. I wouldn't recommend.

I chose this clinic for several reasons. It is close to home. It is close to Adventist hospital where we also can get services according to our Medicare coverage, and now I find that I love my doc. Hubby goes here also and he really likes his doc too. All of the reviews during covid are way off base. Every medical office in our country became short-staffed during those years. Everyone was over worked, highly stressed, and the medical field lost a lot of good people. Those who hung in there were burnt out and some are still handing in there for the patients. They care and they are doing the best they can. It is just that someone's best is not your best. Kindness goes a long way. The front office staff have struggled with a new online patient portal system. The clinic has added providers and I sure they have added nurses and medical assistants also. I think this is a good solid medical provider's clinic and I am quite impressed with the care I have received so far. And, as an RN of 40 years, I know that mistakes can be made but trashing the staff won't get you anywhere with this. Take the problem to them and help them to deal with it. We are all on a learning curve. We are all human and we all make mistakes. I love my doc (thank you Dr. Spear for being so kind and for listening!!! You rock!). I gave the clinic 4 stars because they do have a little work to do on getting back to the patient about lab test results (I should not need to call them a week after my labs are in) and a few other things. Overall, this clinic is a keeper and I am going to stay put for the best care I have received in a very long time.

I was told that my appointment to get my inhaler refilled was covered by insurance when I called to set an appointment now I’m being charged $445 for a 10 minute office visit. When I asked for a break down of cost, I was told “I can just send you to collections”. The staff is incredibly rude you can hear people laughing in the background during conversations, and they will blindside you and lie about insurance coverage. They will take advantage of you and then give you a robotic response when you are upset by the outrageous bill. When I asked if every visit is $445 for 10 minutes she said yes that’s the price. Even with insurance. She then asked if I asked exactly how much it would be cause aparently they won’t tell you unless you specifically ask. Shady. Rude. And a scam. Do not recommend.

My first time at South Tabor and my doctor was Dr. Jansen. His physician assistant was great and I was excited about getting some issues covered. Mostly about my weight gain that I have been dealing with since I'm going through menopause. The whole interaction was super uncomfortable. He sat in the middle of the room with a laptop perched on his crossed legs and didn't really make eye contact. He was cold and arrogant. He literally told me that I could eat 500 calories a day to lose weight. He didn't take in any of my concerns about hormones or mental health. He talked down to me like everything I was saying was just an excuse for not losing weight and I had to ask for a test for diabetes which I don't have but even then he wrote on the note to work on my weight. The worst part was the exam were I sat in the chair and he begrudgingly had to touch me. After listening to my heart and lungs he then poked my fat like I'm the Pillsbury dough boy and asked if I had pain in there. To make matters worse I got about 5 texts and a couple emails for reminders and filled out stuff online just to fill out more paperwork when I got there and he didn't even look at any of that. This was the first time there. Maybe get to know your patients before judging them.

Dr. Janzen is a really cool guy. Smart, patient, and he really took the time I needed. He listened, asked good questions, and i felt like i was in really good hands. He also saw my 5 year old Son, and you can tell he loves kids. He was very kind and nice to my Son. The exam was thoughtful and thorough. We definitely found a winner here! As for the staff, they were great as well. Professional and kind. I am super glad we found this place!

I hate to rate this as less than 5 stars because Dr. Stager is the best PCP I've ever had or heard of, but the reception/admin team is so far from adequate. There is a huge lack of communciation between the admin team and providers, where my provider does not know I requested a Zoom appointment with the admin staff which leads to late and even missed appointments. Every time I attempt to call the office, I am on hold for more than 10 minutes. The zoom link for the appointment on MyChart is also, aparently, wrong, which also led to a late appointment time. If they get the admin communication issues corrected this would be an exceptional clinic. Doctors/Nurses: 7/5 , Admin
