Worst customer service I have received. If you want great service and great customer service go to community pet hospital.
This place gave me a run around for over 1.5 hours. I called at 4:30pm for some flea meds for a dog. They said we will call you when it’s ready. An hour goes by and I called they said they contacted a DIFFERENT number. They staff were changing the story around saying the dog had the medication before. I said NO you said the dog had. You never mentioned how long ago or that the dog needed to be seen for the medication or I would have asked for a different flea medication that didn’t need heart worm medication in it. So they said okay we will try to push for bravest meds but you probably have to wait 24 hours for the medicine. The dog is up to date on shots and has no medical issues. I finally took it into my own hands and showed up. Then a woman from the back came up and was a jerk talking ghetto and disrespectfully. When I said you guys are telling me to wait 24 hours when earlier I was able to pick it up no problem and you would call to let me know when. It’s ready. Then the girl told me that there’s nothing that can be done because the owner of the dog isn’t there with me. And basically tried to shop me away being passive aggressive and snobby. She mentioned that if I get a written prescription I would have to wait making it sound like I had to wait 30 to an hour. Told me it would be 5-10 minutes. 15 minutes goes by. Same girl comes back out and said I can’t get the prescription with out the owner or proof I am responsible for thise dog while owner is away. I said I want to talk to the veterinarian. Finally 6:30pm - I see the veterinarian and she said I couldn’t get the first medication because of it having a heart work test. I said that’s fine. I’ll get bravecto. Then she said I couldn’t get bravecto to because it might cause seizures. Finally she suggested another one. And I said ok. Got a written prescription and left
It’s 7:00pm sitting at Costco finding out the prescription written was incorrect but luckily they will work with it. It said 6month supply not 3. I have to wait 30- 45 minutes until it’s ready.
When I called my vet on Monday about my two dogs it was $75 each for my dogs to get flea meds (bravecto) and I picked it up same day in less than an hour. This place charges $90+ for the exact same medication and you have to wait 24 hours!!! I have a dog smaller and larger than this dog. Same price. Check out chewy- same price for all different size dogs right now. Sorrento won’t price match either. Go somewhere where it isn’t expensive and over charging. Where you get treated with respect and doesn’t make you do a run around. This is the worst. I have spent 3 hours of my life dealing with this crap.

*they don't currently have a vet and nearly killed my dog giving her an infection.
I have been a client of sorrento for 10 years. At first they were great. I loved the vets and the other staff. But then my primary vet left because he was moving out of state. That was fine the other vets were good but also started leaving, but sorrento never informed us those vets had left. At one point they stopped listing the vets on the website. A month ago my dog needed a fentinal patch removed that she had received from an emergency vet. There was residue left behind and they told us it was normal and fine. But apparently it wasn't since my dog developed an infection since sorrento didn't clean the area. That infection nearly killed my dog. At first when she was sick (before we knew it was a bad infection) well called sorrento but they told us to go to the emergency vet because they couldn't help her. I found out from a former employee that the reason they keep sending their clients to the emergency vet is because they don't currently have a vet there. So anything a vet tech can't handle they send us to an expensive emergency vet instead. This was obviously the last star on a whole list of issues we have had with them the past year. Another major issue I had them when a vet tech almost let my dog run into busy road. She seemed scared of my dog, lucky I saw it and commanded my dog to stop.

My boyfriend and I have been bringing our dogs here for 2-3 years, and things were great while it seemed there was a stable vet staff, but lately it seems like every time we go we see someone different. This has recently caused an issue with one of our dogs that resulted in a trip to the emergency vet - after three separate visits to Sorrento, we still had no official diagnosis for a large lump on one of our dog's face/neck, and three separate opinions of what to do about it. After a few weeks, it suddenly grew to more than 4x the size over the course of two days. The emergency vets confirmed it was an abscess and lanced it, but because it had been so large she had to have a drain coming out of her face for 3-5 days and we had to creatively rearrange parts of our house and even pen her in a bathroom at one point to avoid getting blood on things that couldn't easily be cleaned. I feel like there was plenty of opportunity to address it when it was small, but since each visit had to start over with the history and details, it ended up much more negatively impactful to our dog (not to mention much more expensive).
I'm sure staffing is a challenge that's difficult to remedy, so it feels a little bad giving this review, but we've learned how important it can be to have a single point of contact that knows your pet's history. Between the rotating vets and what feels like a general decrease in the availability of appointments, we've unfortunately been feeling uncertain about Sorrento being our go-to source for our dogs' needs. For vaccinations, quick check-ups, etc. I'd still go, but as soon as something seems like it might require multiple visits, we may look at other options.

Edit: we had to say goodbye to one of our dear old kitties and Sorrento made it a peaceful and gentle experience. We are so grateful to them, we called the morning and they fit us in same day, which I am truly thankful for.
Edit: Several years later and we still love this clinic. Different vets now, but every single one we've seen over the years have been absolutely fantastic. Very Covid safe, curbside service and phone calls with vet.
(We have two Frenchies and the vets are very helpful and knowledgeable about the breed and their quirks)
Caring, genuine staff. Our puppy had an accident in her crate on the way out and the lady working the front desk was wonderful, gave us a fresh blanket and helped us clean up. Our vet, Dr Chigos, was informative, friendly and our puppy loved him. Was a great first experience.

If your pet is healthy and you only want regular vaccines and flea treatments, go to VETCO to save time and money.
Sorrento wont give vaccine without an $80 annual exam.
I was booked for vaccine over the phone and was told it will take less than 10 min. I explicitly asked if the annual exam is overdue, and was told no. However, in the appointment, they said the annual exam expired by 1 day so I have to fork over $80 for another exam before they can give the vaccine.
Their doctors may be amazing like others are saying here but their customer service can use some improvement.

My dog had a complex problem that was remedied by the skilled veterinarian surgeon at Sorrento animal Hospital. I’m forever grateful for her assistance, postop instructions, and even assistance out to my car using the ramp to get my large pet there safely! thank you so much!

The staff (reception , vet tech and veterinarian) showed care and concern for my cat Max. I was listened too and a plan was made to see what might be the problem. The veterinarian called me with abnormal blood work. She had a plan in place to help Max regain his health. It is so nice to have a Sorrento animal hospital as a partner in the care of Max

Iv been going to Sorrento Amimal Hospital for a Very long time. Three dog's worth. They've been they're to help me in emergency's for my Yellow Lab to diagnosing My Chihuahua's loss of balance. They've also been they're when I had to say goodbye to my little children. With a broken heart. They give advice and let you make the decision the best way you can. Its hard finding a good Vet that you can trust and I was lucky to find them.
