This place is great, I called around town about 20 different places looking for a few bundles to replace some damaged hardwood in our house. I couldn't find any retailers who - had what I needed, and, would sell to the general public, and/or sell me a small amount of hardwood. Found John at Simple Floors and he took time out of his day to connect me with another distributor and for a really great price. Really great prices. Just great service, we spoke on the phone at length about my project and I just got the feeling that I was really heard and given input that actually pertained to MY situation. Just nice good experience

It was a pleasure working with the team at Simple floors, John, David, Josie and Ivan are all extremely efficient and professional. We had tight deadlines and they really helped with planning the work. We had a buff/recoat and carpet installation. The carpet is very very nice, thanks for the help picking it out.

Called looking for something these guys don't provide. They took a significant amount of time explaining things to me, knowing they don't sell what I'm shopping for. That's the kind of people who deserve five star reviews. Genuinely caring, considerate, informative.

Excellent selection, great value, excellent customer service! I've made 3 laminate flooring purchases and each time the customer service had been exceptional. I highly recommend having employee John R. assist you with any questions or to place order(s). He made sure my orders were placed immediately and all of my orders arrived within a week. A couple things to know... 1) They don't keep inventory at the Portland location, it ships from a distribution center in central/eastern WA. 2) Orders are delivered to a logistics warehouse on Swan Island (near UPS) that's where customers must pick up their orders. 3) Simple Floors doesn't do installations and they don't contract with installers, they only sell the products (flooring).

As a new homeowner, I was really overwhelmed about the process of installing hardwood floors. From the second I walked into the showroom, Simple Floors made me feel so much more at ease. Seth and David were super welcoming and helpful— they took a ton of time with me to answer all my questions about the process (of which I had a LOT) without making me feel rushed at all. Josie and Ivan helped me coordinate the process— they were super communicative, kind, and professional. I’m thrilled with the finished product— the floors look absolutely beautiful. I would 100% recommend Simple Floors to anyone.

Pay attention to the reviews of customers calling out Simple Floors for their lack of accountability. Buyer beware that if your finished flooring product ends up looking nothing like the manufacturer’s sample, Simple Floors will do absolutely nothing to take accountability or advocate on your behalf. Their solution was simply “you should have told us before install” (which happened while I was at work under a GC) as though I was supposed to supervise and inspect every box vs. just expecting the flooring to look like the sample. They are perfectly happy to profit as the middle man, but will do nothing to ensure quality of your flooring and do nothing to collaborate on a solution. Thousands upon thousands of dollars spent to end up with flooring that doesn’t complement the rest of my home.

John did and incredible job helping my wife and I select the best hardwood flooring and vinyl plank flooring for our remodel. His knowledge of products and the industry at large were a huge asset throughout our search. After looking at the big box stores and other flooring outlets in the area, we came back to John because we felt we could really trust his advice and recommendations. Even after the sale, John has continued to be extremely helpful answering questions. We'll recommend him and the Simple Floors team to all our friends and family!

The actual floors look good, mostly. But apparently their flooring team is licensed to take your toilet apart and leave it in the tub, but not licensed to put it back together. I WASN'T told beforehand that they weren't going to put my toilet back together, and that I'd have to either do it myself afterwards, or hire a plumber. I wasn't told this during the browsing and scheduling process, I wasn't told during the measuring process, I wasn't told the day of installation.Fortunately I wasn't living in the place when they completed the floors, but it sure would've sucked if I was living there, and had to come home to a place that is literally uninhabitable, especially if I didn't have the money or knowledge to put my toilet back.It would've been fine if they had told me they were unable to reinstall my toilet before I spent any money, at least by then I could've made sure I had money to budget to have it reinstalled, or gone with a different company who could just do it all at once.They also left excess materials.
