The guy and team that run the shop are real darn nice. It is a newer retro/hobby game shop with video games, collector items for games, some pokemon, and consoles. It is stocked and run as a true passion project. I think you can really tell the level of care and energy being put into the place to get all of these really cool finds from our childhoods. The prices are fair and I don't think the owner is trying to gouge you at all. I very much want this place to stay open and for them to do well. If you're thinking about stopping by you should at least see what they have picked up. I have gone several times in the past month and consoles, displays, and large arcade games keep changing and swapping around. There are a lot of neat things in here.

This. Place. Has. Everything! Literally everything!! And the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. There’s a girlie there named Deavon, who is, maybe one of the best customer service people I’ve ever met?? Like she’s so friendly and hilarious, and if she can’t answer a question she will find the answer & like 5 interesting facts she learned along the way! ? highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance!

Listen I realize that no one cares, cuz this review pertains to the Wii U but hear me out. First Wii U I got when I plugged it in smelled like smokers cigs. SideQuest kindly swapped it out for a second Wii U and that one is just ok. I realize most of the units have been sitting for two years or more but the battery in my game pad didn't last 50 mins. I got a new one from IFixit for 20 bucks. When I opened the game pad the battery was bulging. so I am very very glad I took the time to swap it out. Just wish that for 150$ I didn't have to swap out the battery for a new one. Also the HDMI cables they have for the Wii U stink like smokers cigs too so I just tossed it. I think next time I need gaming things I will just end up taking the drive somewhere else. Sucks cuz I would like to support my local store cuz they have a great selection and the staff are very friendly.
Tuesday May 28th Edit
I went into the store and the owner held up to his word gave me 20 dollars of in store credit. Was very nice about the whole thing.
Changed the review to 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for staying true to your word SideQuest Games!

My switch had an overheating problem, the battery melted the battery connector socket, so I took my switch here (since Nintendo wouldnt do anything to help me) with a new battery connector socket and they soldered the battery connector to the wrong area (I would have soldered it myself but I didn't have the tools). Now my switch turns on to a static screen and the controllers vibrate continuously until I hard turn it off, it also makes an extremely loud long beep. When they gave it back to me, they obvioiusly didn't do a turn on test and they didn't even close the thing back up. They left it taken apart in a gallon sized bag so when I got back home I had to screw the back panel back on to it by myself.
