I use Sherwin almost exclusively for my paint needs, great quality goods.The problem at this particular store was a specific employee. I don't remember his name, but he looks a lot like the actor Justin Long.I had a few extras on a project to return because I need to make the books right. So I brought a handful of things in about 45 minutes before closing. He sees me walk in and I swear I see him start sweating as I wait in line to get to the counter. As soon as it's my turn, he starts saying "oh geez, oh Lord, oh no, oh geeze". I get there, and he says it a few more times while I put my things on the counter. I asked with a confused look on my face, "Um, is there a problem"? He replied that he really doesn't like to do returns if that's what I am thinking about doing.I offered that I return things all the time, it's just a few tubes of caulking, a drop cloth and a few paint liners. He said "oh geez man, I'm not going to do that for you". I was shocked but I didn't have time to argue so I just left.Anyway, I do not recommend this location.

I popped in with a quick question about an upcoming furniture project and wanted to know about the various kinds of paint I needed for the finish I was looking for and how much I would need. This store is well staffed, well stocked and well lit and Store Manager Nick Reed wasted no time in asking me the right questions to help me select the perfect product. I wasn't planning on buying paint that day, but he recommended the perfect paint AND it just so happened it was 40% off! I'm so glad storefronts like this still exist; smaller, more customer-centric and staffed by professionals who really know what they're talking about! I'll be back again for sure!

I'm kind of torn about my experience here. I needed to paint an area of about 2" x 2". Spoke to the kid at the counter and he told me that the product I was looking for had since changed names. The contractor paint that I was looking for to touch up my ceiling was a 700 series and is now a 400 series per him. He said it comes in 1 gallon, which is the smallest he could do for me. I didn't really want that much paint but I didn't really seem to have an option. He did give me a discount because I had my Builder's information so the gallon of paint was almost $50. I went home and touched up the area, and immediately knew it was not a match. It was super Duper shiny more like a gloss. I let it dry and came back and could see it a mile away. It was definitely much brighter white as well. I called the store and a female answered, and I explained the situation to her. She then promptly tells me that that is definitely not a match and even though the series changed that is not the correct paint for my ceiling. I asked her if I could return it and she said they did not allow returns. I explained the situation to her and told her that the gentleman told me it was a match and I had photos to prove it. I told her how big the area was, and after about 10 minutes she finally said that I could actually bring the paint back. The gentleman was in the store when I returned, and I attempted to talk to him about it because basically, I had wasted about two hours of my time doing this, and he would not speak to me at the counter. I mean, if it was a mistake and you didn't know then just own up to it. I was super put out by it, but the girl did the right thing in the end and I got a refund and left.

I was in a rush and needed paint matched asap, the person was so kind and rushed my paint so I wouldn't be late. Then it turned out I'd matched the wrong paint! I had to come back the next morning and again he was SO nice and re-tinted my paint, making a PERFECT match, I can't even tell where the old paint stops and the new paint begins!

The person I spoke with in the store today was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He explained and suggested the right product for my job, and even knew his competitor's paint code off the top of his head, so I was able to match the old paint on my home. To top it off, I hit the tail end of a sale—and he tacked on an extra coupon. I don't think this experience can be beat. Really impressed.

I didn't go to that store, but when I came out of where I visited in that mall, a huge Sherwin Williams semi pinned me in to my parking spot.
