Places like this add to the joy of boating. I found a part on the shelf I could not find in all of San Diego!

I'm new to the boating community in Portland and recently became acquainted with Sexton's. Joe, Marty and Sara are not only helpful, but just cool to talk to. They have experience with and knowledge of everything they carry in store, and probably everything they don't, as it relates to boats. Great experience each time. Go here if you need something for your boat!

I needed a short length of stainless tubing for the heater on my boat. Not only did they have what I needed but It was a fraction of the cost compared to west marine.

Always have what I need, always friendly and helpful. Added bonus: if I need recommendations on someone to work on my boat, they always have names of the best people! Support local small business, especially when they are this awesome!

Definitely worth checking, have a good selection and prices. We always stop here before going to worst marine because the prices are better and we want to support this place!

This is a must for any do it yourself (sail) boater who wants to save money(not easy on boats) The prices are easily between 20% (on lines) to 50% ( on rigging) cheaper than at West Marine with customer service and knowledge of the staff unbeatable. I went with a specific problem on my traveler and they squared me away with a replacement and the most efficient solution mixing some parts from the consignment room and the retail show room--2 Harken blocks were 50% cheaper for the retail and the one on consignment was 75% cheaper than at West Marine. it needed some hard to find bolt sizes that they did not have but they spent almost a half hour making sure that I identified the right ones and sent me to the correct place. There is no way you can get this kind of personalized consultant advice from West Marine. I needed some teak and they set me up with a nice remnant that fit the bill perfectly assisting me in the design as well.
