IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. My brother took his life in this facility. No resources for him while he was noticeably depressed. The lady there was awful to my sister and I as we were calling to try and get some answers during their devastating time. Horribly ran facility. Would never ever recommend this place. If I could give it ZERO STARS I WOULD.

We lost my brother this past weekend at Salvation Army in Portland Oregon. The staff is horrible no one returns our calls and the lady Mel at the front desk was laughing in our face and being very rude. Can’t believe this is a Christian based facility with staff who have no heart or sympathy for a family who just lost a loved one. If I can give 0 stars I would. Makes me second guess how they might have been treating my brother.

Great sober living facility. We took a meeting to the men there and had a uplifting experience. Met a group of men trying to be rigorously honest with eachother and on a journey of a new life. They are growing along spiritual lines one day at a time.

This center is not closed, but moved to a new facility. Beautiful. Recovery happens there!

I heard you are closing down. It's not surprising. You can't continue to treat people the way you do. Your program isn't for everyone. As someone who was in the program for months I couldn't believe the way that the majors would put down, demean, and slam those who had decided to leave the program in front of the rest of the group. During morning devotions, chapel services, and classes. This is one of the main reasons I chose to leave. You don't practice what you preach. Your program is not the only way.

I've known a lot of people who entered this program and stayed until completion and really changed their lives. If you work it - it works! It's a beautiful, clean facility and it's free. If you need a place to recover this is the place.

I am an alumni who was saved because of this program. I owe the salvation army ARC my life. I was broken but now I've been healed.
