Stayed here summer/fall in 2013, staff was supportive and they didnt violate personhood except for making u put ur clothes/ blanket in heater to kill bugs which is pointless cuz i caught body lice there. Crabs were all over bathroom and shower areas. They cling to pubic hair or lining in clothes u wear, not clothes u bring in. Hard to get rid of

I started using safes as a resource when I was just 14 years old... I was new to the streets a young trans woman and so imagine how scary. The staff made me feel welcome and safe yes I was the youngest there but respect was never an issue. It’s just all about how you carry yourself.I brought my other friend with me (gigi pierce. The trans woman shot at the corner) and they welcomed her with open arms. I can not say they don’t accept our kind because they do. If you are in need of outstanding emotional support and to feel accepted then this is y

I applied for housing here and I told them upfront and honest with them that I had a vehicle and did they have parking. I was told yes. I got a call for the housing. I went there, and NO PARKING.When I asked about it, the woman there told me to sell my vehicle.I asked her did she need her vehicle. She replied yesI told her so do I.Avoid this place.

As of july 31st 2019 the safes shelter is no longer open. The only people who will be able to stay there are the ladys in the SRO's.

Do NOT go here if you need a safe space. They don't treat you like a human being. They're awful, rude, they belittle and make fun of your situation. They make you cry then laugh in your face. Garbage place run by garbage people. Would give zero stars if I could.

This is a front group for the church of scientology. Half of the volunteers here are clueless about the truth, and they cannot distinguish the women who are actually homeless from the scientologists posing as homeless women who work in collaboration with the staff/volunteers who are also scientologists.
