This is my local Safeway and I'm happy with the selection, prices and the customer service. The only downside is the remodel of the entrances, exits and self checkout lines..,it's very punitive feeling, like they expect most customers to be to thieves. You have to go through one way turnstiles and scan a receipt.

Poor customer service in the deli. The clerk was standing at the warm food counter with no customers, I asked if he could make me a sandwich the answer was no. There was not enough staff to make a sandwich. For 5 minutes the clerk waited on one customer. Extremely Poor customer service!
