Not a bad shopping trip, got everything I needed, but when my sister and I went to the self checkout, the woman running it came to scan our coupons and then "clear the pinpad" on each of our machines. Turns out she was taking the customer survey for us. I thought it was very strange and didn't feel right. Shouldn't the survey on the pinpad be for the customers to fill out? I don't remember the woman's name, but whoever it was worked the self checkout on Saturday 6/29 around 4/5 pm.

This Safeway is clean, has nice wide aisles and has everything you might need. The pharmacy is good and can be accessed online. I've shopped there, used the delivery service and the Drive Up and Go service which I prefer since it's cheaper than delivery, and they bring the food right to the car. Also, the cashiers are so friendly and the staff are helpful!

It is complete bananas how overpriced Safeway is. I just went there and bought something that I could buy for 799 anywhere else and I paid 1699 for it
Screw this store screw this company and screw shopping there

STAFF DISGARDS MY DISABILITY AND THE FACT IM A PAYING CUSTOMER KICKING ME OUT FOR SITTING ON STAIRS IN PARKING LOT... SERIOUSLY!!!
I have had to update my review and drop the rating due to the behavior of the staff and the way they treated me. I am an older woman who is disabled and requires a walker to get around. Our car was stolen last week so we have to depend on rides to get to the store and this was one of those times. I just needed a few things so I was done before my ride was done with their shopping. We parked in the garage so I went down to wait in the car but it was locked. Instead of looking for them making them feel rushed I sat down on the stairs and was waiting for them to finish. I was quietly playing a game on my tablet when I noticed several male employees come down and go into I assume an office of theirs they came right back out and just kinda stood around. Slowly making their way to the stairs their behavior was very odd and kind of alarming. I could then feel a heavy presence of people behind me so I glance back to see they have 8-9 employees sically trying to surround me so I ask if I'm in their way and the one you'd man states yes I can't sit there. I explain I'm a paying customer as was my ride who was still inside shopping and they simply waited for me to vacate the building so I went out in the hot garage where ther is no place for elderly disabled people waiting for rides. I can't sit on the ground and I can't stand for very long so the employees effectively put me in a dangerous position it's not like I could walk out and leave. I'm disabled and they knew this, they also see me all the time in the store. I'm not homeless I wasn't dressed as if I were homeless I'm not real sure what offended their little minds but this was a clear violation of my rights as a disabled woman. Safeway continues to go down hill and now they are kicking honest cash paying customers out for sitting on the stairs that hardly get used. Something really shady about this whole event.

Manager Blake super rude. Had trouble with coupons because the digital coupons are difficult to use. .stupid things wouldn't load and when I asked for help he started being a jerk and saying things like I should be more prepared and talking to another employee saying it's not his job to walk people though their shopping trip because they're not smart enough to follow instructions. I was mad and embarrassed I was shaking. I've never been treated so rude by aanaher of a business in my entire life. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Better since they have security at the doors now. Meat department is sketchy with available items. No one is ever at the counter and tray packs are hit/miss if you want something.

Manager was a jerk, the customer behind us couldn't mind her freaking business and the cashier played dumb. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. Go to Woodstock if 6oou want to be treated well, not snobby Powell.

After reading the star climbers at 1 star review. And how do you employ their handle the poor lack of customer service in the way he was treated? I will no longer be shopping at this Safeway. Either neither will my family and friends. Absolutely. What is wrong with a lot of this world Yes, people and attitudes like there's. They're off-putting and downright rude and disrespectful.
I think it's time to do some soul-searching for these employees. So they can figure out how to treat a fellow human being. Unacceptable.
Now because of it, you've lost several other customers.Shame on management.Shame on safeway definitely boycotting all of your store And even if it was basic math and who was having trouble and how to use the calculator regardless how dare you put down somebody because of theinability to do somethat's downright disrespectfulm unhuman.

Very unfriendly younger cashier that has helped me many times. Never makes eye contact or greets me. Never interacts. Not a customer service person.

The most horrible service ever. I came late at night, was tired and just wanted to get a few groceries before I went home. I grabbed some honey that was on sale but you needed to use the Safeway app to get the coupon. So I downloaded the app, scanned the barcode of the coupon and it didn't work. The app just was stuck in the spinny wheel loading icon. So I took a picture of the coupon and figured they probably had some way to fix it at the register. The two employees were so rude. They kept asking me if I had the app on my phone despite literally showing it to them on my phone, and showing them that it wasn't working. Then they told me to sign in on the app which I did, as guest, and it still didn't work. Then one of them searched for the honey on the app and the discount on the app was different than advertized on the shelf. And when I pulled up the calculator app to show the price difference the lady literally laughed at me for using a calculator saying, "it's basic math". When I complained about her conduct to the manager he was like, well I think you were being rude actually. What?? The app didn't work. I explained that several times and they acted like jerks because I did what the app told me to do. And then the price was wrong anyway.
I don't think I'm ever going to shop at this store again. I work with the public myself. I do customer service. And so I understand that there are issues sometimes with apps or software that doesn't work the way it's supposed to and that that's not the employees fault. But their competely derisive attitude at every point of the way where I tried to explain that it didn't work, was just crazy. Like, wth would you be rude to customers when the app doesn't work? I get that isn't their fault but like there's no need to be insulting to me for that.
