Spoke with Safelite multiple times about a clerical error that a technician set for me on the schedule and what was said by him.8-12 is what was said. Actual time in the computer was 8-5pm. I only took 4 hours off work for service to be done and once they found out that someone from their team messed up they said deal with it and “wait or reschedule”
Very disappointed in their customer service and support to fix situations they created. It’s already hard enough that we are coming to safelite by unfortunate events. Why make the customer even more stressed when you can’t honor what you say and when you will do it.
Once the driver came on site after a few minutes of looking at the windshield, packed up and left without any word. Highly unprofessional.

It has now been over a month and my window is still not repaired I have reached out the field office has reached out and left emails no one is responding so now to contact Bbb and file suit I simply asked for a full refund & I would take my business elsewhere and they won't even honor that so now to court I go by far the worst experience I will never go through them again and will also let others know Portland location is a awful location for service hopefully this helps others I have so much proof even there own worker said this is wrong to go to the office but why? No one is still trying to help they set an apt for today without me knowing cause I had originally opted for come out service and they booked in house service after telling them no the car is covered in glass someone needs to come out and now no one is answer the phones yet again posting photos today of attempts to reach them and nothing.

it would've been 5 stars if they sang the Safelite song but I'm totally cool with them just promptly fiting me in to their busy schedule and fixing my windshield chip.. GOOD experience for sure!

If 0 stars was an option I’d select that! This company is by far the WORST! Not only do they not know how to do windows in car doors that need to be set in a track. They do not care if you have to take several different days off work to get them fixed. Took that to corporate and was ghosted they claimed they’d send a visa refunding at least part of my deductible and never did! Fast forward to now I had a rock hit the window of a different car. I was very hesitant to give them another chance but thought maybe because it’s a front windshield they are capable since this is who my insurance company contracts with. Well I sat and waited in my 1-5pm window of arrival. I finally call at 350 pm and they claim the technician is 10 minutes away. 30 minutes goes by so I call again get placed on hold as I’m on hold I get a notification they rescheduled my appt to a different day over a week and a half away. Without even consulting that that time or day works for me for one which it doesn’t as I have a job and they aren’t reliable enough for me to take the day off and have this same scenario happen again. I called again was told I would be transferred over to a manager to be disconnected and then the shop closed. So that was really wonderful. As far as I’m concerned this place is so poorly ran without any consideration for the customers or the customers time. Had they called even 2 hrs into my 4 hr window with an update I would have been way more accepting but to just reschedule with no conversation just an email and text is complete BS!!! I will never use this company again I shouldn’t have let my guard down after my first experience with them.

Terrible Service. They didn't install my windshield properly and I lost the molding around my window. They then scheuled a visit for two weeks out to look at it. All they say is we will order the parts and call you to schedule another visit. 3 weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call them and they say oh yeah we can be out there in a week. Supposed to be scheduled for today and I get a call that they don't have the parts and now it is going to be more like another 3-5 weeks before they can fix the problem that they created. Took both my truck and my wife's car to M & M in Beaverton. Done in 2 Hours and no issue with either one. I would not use or recommend Safelite to anyone. There can always be problems so that is not the issue. It is the lack of communication or effort to fix their problem that make it so frustrating.

My insurance company, Allstate has a business partnership with Safelite autoglass for chip repairs and windshield replacement.
A few months ago I set up a claim through my insurance to have a chip repair done on my motorhome. When I got home after the repair I noticed some scratching on the passenger door near where the tech would have been working. I buffed it out and let it go.
Today I setup another claim for my passenger vehicle that had a rock chip on the windshield. I was told to wait and that he would be there between 8 and noon. Nobody showed up and I was not notified. At 2 p.m. I called safelite and they had no excuse but rescheduled the appointment for a tech to show up before 5p.m. I did not receive any confirmation of this rescheduled appointment so I called back. The rep told me that she would notify a manager to contact me. Still waiting......................

I needed a windshield replacement which required a recalibration for my car’s front facing cameras. I was given an estimated cost and time for work to complete and they beat both! Only took an hour to complete when the estimate was 3-5 and it cost less than expected! On top of all of this, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.

I have never dealt with a worse customer service department and have never had so much difficulty speaking to an actual person regarding the incomplete repair on my son’s vehicle. Absolutely awful service, I’ve emailed the manager and Assistant manager, the email address I was given for the district manager was incorrect…not at all surprised by this

The call center agent was rude and acted like she had better things to do while on the phone with me. After they showed up the first time with the wrong part I rescheduled for them to replace my windshield at my work. The second appointment was (without my knowledge) scheduled in their shop. It’s now been a week of dealing with them and still no solution. Hopefully I get a better experience when the tech comes out for my 3rd appointment.

I'm not sure why these reviews have been so terrible since I had a really pleasant experience.
Starting at the beginning with scheduling the appointment - Instead of contacting my insurance, I just filled out the information on Safelite's website. Their schedule indicated that the next opening is two weeks out, so I took the first opening they had. After they verified with my insurance what the deductible is, they allowed me to choose an earlier appointment that was only 2 days out.
Throughout the scheduling process, I received a lot of emails and text messages about my appointment. In fact, I also received a call from someone physically at this location who told me that this is a very lengthy process and that I should expect to wait up to six hours due to the camera recalibration process.
I showed up a few minutes earlier than my appointment and they pulled my car in right away and began the windshield replacement. Instead of sitting around, I took a few laps around the building - there isn't much here within walking distance, but a few blocks away there are some fast food joints.
Before I knew it, they completed the work in under 3 hours with the cameras recalibrated - it even came along with a certification. With every step of this process, it had been painless since they did all the paperwork with my insurance and kept me up to speed with the repairs. They didn't damage my car, didn't mess anything up...
So yeah, I'd probably give this place a six out of ten for overdelivering.
