Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I had fun, but I was unaware of the pricing beforehand. We received this class as a gift and were told we would get a small terrarium included in the class booking price and could pay to upgrade to something larger. That was not the case... It may be because the management switched between when it was booked and now, but it was more than I had wanted to pay out of pocket. I enjoyed learning the history and science behind terrariums and the hands-on assistance. Still, it was 250 dollars for two people (not including the class price). Fewer plant options were available compared to what was pictured online when my partner and I attended. It was a fun experience, but I wish I had been warned beforehand on how much it would cost us. By going through the class, you get a $25 discount, but that is already applied to the prices of the terrarium glasses you can choose from. I would have rather thrifted some mason jars from Goodwill to use than spend 100 + dollars on a small container. At least they offer a lifetime no-fault policy, so if something goes wrong, you can take it in, and they can assist you in getting it back on track. TLDR; I would go if you are interested, but be aware of the pricing!

Took the Terrarium making class with my mom and it was such a fun and lovely experience! Greg, the owner and teacher of the class, and his apprentice Daniel were both so passionate and knowledgeable about terrariums and the joy they can bring. Highly recommend the Roosevelt's terrariums experience!

Old management becomes new management again and you could tell there are little adjustments to be made. My son and I did a class and it was lovely. I was a bit thrown off at the prices to upgrade your size terrarium! Maybe others can afford that, not me ?All and all I think it's a really cool place and the classes are totally worth it.

My boyfriend and I took a terrarium making class here yesterday and had an amazing experience! The store owners are so kind and sweet and we learned so much about terrariums and were so happy with how ours turned out. ?

Attended a class here this week for the first time and have never been so uncomfortable in my life. The staff gives horrific advice concerning live animals, recommending entirely inappropriate living environments for animals they clearly view as only profit. As a long-time exotics keeper, places like this give all of us a bad name and encourage animal abuse.On top of the pathetic knowledge demonstrated here, the owner came off pretentious and stuck up. I didn't want to confront someone already unpleasant to be around, so I paid and left after. I'll never be back and hope they won't be around long.

Great place! Took a class, learned a LOT, and I made a beautiful terrarium that will last for decades. The owner and his manager are very knowledgeable and explained everything so well, and they guarantee the terrariums. Plus, you can bring yours in and they'll water and maintain it when needed (average once a year) for free.

Very interesting - this place will make you smile while you’re looking at all the miniature world they created. They have all the materials for sale for you to make your own….and offer classes if you don’t want to tackle making a terrarium yourself. Excellent plant selection!

We came here for a friends birthday and had a good time. The instructor is very engaging and fun. I wish the prices of the glassware were a little lower but still feels worth it if it really does last years and years. I love that you could pick as many plants as you want for your terrarium.

Wow this class was SO fun, I was initially very intimidated by the idea of making a terrarium but Callie is such an amazing instructor, and I'm so happy with how mine turned out! Will definitely be back for happy hour and bringing friends.I was also super relieved to hear that they offer a 1 year warranty on terrariums made during their classes, as well as pruning as needed.

Took the into class- it was very fun! There was plenty of time even for my picky personality to get it just right. Very knowledgeable staff, wonderful plant selection and great tips for designing a lovely set up!

We had a truly delightful time building terrariums for my partner's birthday. Our instructor was personable, funny, and fielded our many many questions with ease. They had a great selection of jars and rocks and plants, and I was impressed with the health and quality of plants we had to choose from. Our instructor offered valuable advice on which plants would look best for our particular design, not just today but over time as they grow. It's such a wholesome, joyful activity, and we can't wait to come back.

We had our team building here and had such a fun time! Callie was hilarious and such a great instructor. I will definitely be back for more plant knowledge and cute gifts!

Callie was super knowledgeable in the class I did! She was so helpful (and I loved the jokes she made), and made the experience really fun. The terrarium building process was well explained and super easy to follow along with, perfect for letting your creativity flow and make it whatever you want :) Thank you for the excellent experience!

Kyle was teaching us and he was wonderful!! He was very funny and super knowledgeable. He helped our group and made sure everyone was happy with their terrariums.My terrarium also randomly broke at one point and they went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make sure I still had a good experience, and I wasn’t even upset that the terrarium broke! It was just glass doing glass things!They were also very clearly LGBTQ+ friendly which is something I appreciate seeing in a business.Needless to say it was a great experience and I will definitely come back!
