“After my longtime realtor retired, and another realtor we tried to use was a complete dud, I was referred to Heidi from a trusted colleague. From the start, Heidi was an absolute professional and extremely knowledgeable about the Portland and surrounding area as we had cast a wide net for a property with certain attributes. Since technology these days allows the homebuyer to find homes fairly easily on one's own, I fully expected that I'd find the property myself and she would help us during negotiations. Although I were pretty diligent about searching, I was very pleasantly surprised when Heidi actually found the property we ultimately purchased and sent it to me, which gave us an advantage when we made an offer.

We were in a multiple offer situation with 3 others bidding on the home. Heidi was able to establish a rapport with the seller's realtor, and even though we were not the highest bidder, she was able to explain all of the reasons why we were the best buyer and we ultimately prevailed.

The time in contract was an absolute breeze because Heidi was with lock-step with us at every point, anticipating issues long before we did or the sellers did, and make that entire process extremely smooth for all parties involved. In the end, when the mortgage company failed to ensure the appraisal was done correctly and on time and it threatened the timing of the deal, Heidi did everything she could to ensure we closed on time, and I know although this was not her error, she personally agonized with me during those nail-biting days.

I've been through this process a number of times, and I know that there are always stressful issues that occur. Heidi is a centered professional with many years of experience to help guide anyone through home buying (and selling too I'm sure) and takes the load off of her clients. Any busy person (who isn't one of those?!) will appreciate that. I also just grew to love Heidi as a person - she is easy to talk and relate to, and I appreciate her commitment to the community. I will absolutely call her again the next time we buy and/or sell, and highly encourage anyone else to do the same.”
