I recently moved into Raleigh Slabtown and had a smooth and organized experience, dealing with various members of the management office. Everyone has been prompt, kind and understanding. Very professional! It eases the stress of a move incredibly.The building is beautiful and residents are friendly. The amenities are wonderful. Just as pictured on their virtual tours online.I’ve had prompt communication on multiple levels and very much looking forward to my stay here. Just the big day for the movers to arrive to see how everything rounds out!

Portland can be a very strange place for newcomers, and living here set me up for success. I can confidently say this is one of the safest and more residential/walkable areas of Portland, and has a great sense of community. It's nice to walk out the door, see a friendly face in the office, grab coffee or drinks without having to park or drive. I don't want to leave! Shout out to Danijela who always goes above and beyond not only for when I'm locked out or have issues with package deliveries, but for making this place feel more like a home than a corporate housing space- it's made all the difference.

Dani and Brad have been so helpful and very responsive for everything I’ve needed. The homes and amenities are wonderful, I definitely recommend renting with them! We plan to renew and stay for a while! :)

This complex has been amazing. Friendly neighbors and a very helpful service team. Dani at the front desk helped us through everything and made our move in process delightful and easy.

I’m changing my review, but leaving July initial review as well.I have a tenant on my 3rd year. This place still have some good people, especially the technician staff member and front office. However, every year this place increase your rent to almost max (according to law). Nowhere else in the city are your charges this much and still met with an increase every year. Back office have now awareness of market and only compare prices to their new locations.The building is becoming more worn down and yet prices increase. This place don’t care about loyalty.If you only need a place for a year and can take advantage of the benefits, go for it.Otherwise, stay away.Old:Great place to live. The building has a perfect size in terms neighbours.The facilities and amenities are wonderful.The staff has been helpful from day one, but especially the cleaning and maintenance staff are wonderful, and should receive some more respect from some neighbours.Despite people not always cleaning up after themselves, the place is constantly being held clean and functional.

Aesthetically nice bldg but poor build quality and inattentive management. Common facilities, like elevators, entry doors and trash chutes regularly break down, and the on-site staff are never proactive about communicating with residents or solving known issues. For the high price tag, you can do better.

Brad is the man! Down to earth, professional and just gets people! He’s always willing to answer my never ending questions. I hate moving and he supported me along the way, making sure my unit was ready last minute with easy access for the movers. Raleigh is a cute, quiet property with great finishes and amenities for Portland. But wouldn’t have made the final decision if Brad hadn’t sold the perfect unit for me.

Unfortunately had multiple issues of theft… very little was done to combat and fix the situation. Things happen of course but multiple issues regarding theft of a few hundreds dollars each time is very unsettling. Mostly disappointed with the reactions and attempts to remedy from staff and management.

I moved in about a month ago with the help of Danijela and everything has been amazing, the staff seem to care about their tenants and everything is clean and maintained well. They are not out to get you like some other building managements I’ve dealt with. The move in process was very easy and everyone has been extremely friendly and communicative throughout.

I recently toured the Raleigh Slabtown Apartments with Danijela during a work visit to the Portland area. The property was very clean and the apartments were well designed. Danijela was patient throughout the entire process and she was kind enough to show me several units throughout the property. I would highly recommend touring Raleigh Slabtown and Danijela is a great contact to help find an apartment that’s right for you.

My husband and I applied for an apartment at Raleigh Slabtown on August 5th, the website was not acting properly so they asked us to get 2 money orders, one for the application and 300 for a deposit. We did that. After a week and a half wait, we found out our application was not approved. However, we have not after dozens of attempts been able to get our deposit back. After more research our deposit should not have even been taken without an approval. Countless attempts to get this money back just comes back with a “they’re working on it” response. It is now October 3rd. We cannot get in touch with a manager. And no one is willing to help expedite this. I know it’s only 300 dollars, but it is not theirs to keep. They’re insanely slow to respond. After finding another apartment- I’m so glad we didn’t end up living here, trying to deal with a management team that’s so completely slow to respond, and then when they do… they’re without answers.

Update: To the front desk folks, I wish you were more communicative like the prior staff. Also, beware if you have a car. I’ve heard horror stories of break-ins, theft and guests parking in reserved spots in the garage.……….This review is long overdue. I’ve lived here for six months now and I have to say I have no regrets about choosing Raleigh Slabtown as my home!Not only is this place gorgeous but the staff that works here is world class. Jolyn (who no longer works here) and Marcus are amazing — They are both professional, warm, welcoming and a pleasure to run into every time that I do.I don’t want to repeat review comments so I recommend checking out Steven Saftig’s review. (He touches on the points that I would’ve and does a great job doing so!) However, some personal and memorable experiences from me: When I first moved into the building, I found out that my mattress was going to delivered at a time when it would be impossible for me to arrive for. I didn’t know what to do so I decided to call the front office to see if somebody could be there to take the delivery for me. Marcus answered the phone and he did not hesitate or seem inconvenienced at all, and handled the delivery for me perfectly. Specifically, I arrived later, I found the mattress perfectly placed where it needed to be. Then there were times where my hands were full at the front door and Marcus would notice and run out and give me a hand! Recently, the staff found a check made out to me in the trash room. They held onto it for me to make sure that it wasn’t being thrown away by accident.If Nordstrom had an apartment building, it would be the Raleigh Slabtown. Both have world class customer service and gorgeous facilities!

The staff here is absolutely incredible. They address your needs and go above and beyond. The property is stunning. I moved here after the loss of my husband and having to sell our house. It has become my sanctuary thanks to the amazing staff - they are kind, professional and responsive. I can't say enough about this property.
