I have been trying to get my baby vaccinated for multiple months now and they constantly have an excuse for now Hy they can’t do it and tell me they will contact me to schedule his vaccines, and it’s been three months and they still haven’t gotten it done.

Used to be better. I went in for a routine visit and noted a really scary incident that had occurred about 10 days prior. At first, provider seemed to downplay the incident as allergies. But I was pretty sure it was either a cardiac event or perhaps generalized anxiety disorder (which I’d never had prior). She did do an EKG, and came back into room fast after seeing the printout. Suggested a likely recent heart attack.
Or so she said.
A day later in My Chart, the test result of EKG is noted as “normal.” I sent it to my friend, also a doctor, and he agreed: normal. No worries. I messaged my doc via MyChart only to receive no answer after 2 business days. Just want to know: do I need further tests as she noted initially? Who knows? Asked again on day 3, still no answer.
They used to be really good answering MyChart messages, but Providence has totally lost its way. Now you have to nag several times to get an answer (which I hate doing as I know the lowly folks don’t get paid enough). You’d think that with a potential Dx of a HEART ATTACK that they’d care.
You’d be wrong.
Never mind the LabCorp situation. (Just search for LabCorp in r/Oregon AND r/Portland.
I guess it’s back to concierge care for me. Eff Providence. Which sucks, bc my
Doc there is truly great.

I had an unpleasant experience during my visit there for my baby. I tried to call the front office and I asked to talk to a manager. The employee refused to and told me she would forward my number to her leadership. After a month nobody called me unfortunately. I couldn’t find any feedback form to send on their website.
The complain is only about the nurse/assistant nurse that received us. I’m very happy about our doctor instead.
Basically the nurse was doing weird expressions when my baby (who has a developmental delay) tried to tell her few words. She looked at me with a negative expression like “what is the child even saying?”. That was sad especially because the child is so little it’s hard to talk. You could have just smiled and move on with the visit like everyone would have done. I mean, you work in the health care. Do better and be more careful. I was carrying several things (purse, diaper bag, coats) and when it was time for the child to go on the scale I left everything I was carrying on the chair right next to the scale. Unfortunately the questionnaire I was filing fell inside the trash bin right next to the chair. Note that it is the one right outside the restroom. I apologized and kindly asked to get a new questionnaire. The nurse looked at me, picked up the papers from the trash and gave them back to me saying “we don’t use that trash, it’s clean”. Are you serious? It was full of gloves and Kleenex and all sort of stuff. Where is the hygiene?! At least pretend you care about being clean and just grab a new questionnaire! When I refused to touch it she finally went to the front office to get a new one. Her hands were never once cleaned by washing her hands either with soap or gel sanitizer. I’m just shocked to be honest and sad nobody cared to even call me back. Please don’t reply to this message by asking me to call you back. You should already have my number. Thank you

Is place still in business? I have been trying to call in as a new patient for THREE DAYS and it just keeps me on hold for over 40 minutes each time. I have yet to speak to an actual person. Shocking.

Terrible service I have been waiting for more than 8 months for care, the service is not free and even so for me the service is of poor quality, I hope it is not because I am Hispanic, because I continue to be bad every day and your medical staff is not interested, I want to know where I can go to someone with authority to explain my case

Doctor was a complete ahole who wouldn't listen to what I was saying and completely ruined my already horrible week. I told him my symptoms and he literally laughed and said it was silly of me to come in with so few of them. Then when going over my medical records and he asked if I ever had stimulants, I told him numerous times that I currently HAVE an Adderall prescription and have it in my system from 3 days ago and its like he didn't listen at all because when the nurses took my blood/urine and came back with the results, they were like you know you have Amphetamine(what Adderall is made of LIKE I SAID) in your system? I was like, I TOLD THE DOCTOR THIS ALREADY! He seriously didn't listen? They put it in my records like I was some junkie when I HAVE A PRESCRIPTION AND TOLD THEM ABOUT IT!!!! So disgusted by the lack of care and lack of listening by the doctor. Now I have to call the hospital regarding my records and didn't get any help from the doctor for my condition, disappointed beyond belief in the lack of care.

Victoria Murrell is really good at what she does and truly cares about her patients.I felt so heard by her and finally got the help I’d been asking for! Dr. Graves is Amazing and I’m thankful she’s my doctor! I definitely recommend them both!!!!?

Providence as a whole is extremely incompetent these days and it shows. A typical phone call to this clinic goes like this.You call to make an appointment or speak to someone in the office, and you are placed on hold for 30+ minutes. Another 15 minutes pass, and you wait another 15 minutes.Congratulations, after being on hold for 1 hour, you are immediately cut off by the phone and when you try to call back, you just realized they are now closed for a 2-hour meeting.Such a disappointment.

Im so beyond disappointed with providence and this location now. They are absolutely incompetent and don't put patient care first. When you move make sure you make them print your records cause getting them to release them to your new doctor out of state is apprently out of their job description. I need an mri and can't get one cause my old Dr won't send my records over.......to my new doctor who is 450 miles away in another state you guys are useless.Also having people on hold for 30 mins is unacceptable, UNACCEPTABLE. I'm the patient and shouldn't be having to request my own records after my Dr has requested it 3 times! This is not okay. I was born at providence, lucky to be alive I guess
