I love going to this place. They make mailing things so easy!!! There’s rarely a line because they are so fast, and they’re always so nice!!!

I own a small business on Hawthorne, and the team at Postal Annex has been incredibly supportive and responsive. They have made my life much easier!

I had a great experience today at Postal Annex. I had an odd piece about 8ft long and 4in wide to ship across country. The staff could easily have declined to help with this awkward situation. Instead, the gentleman at the counter came up with a creative solution for packaging at a surprisingly reasonable cost. Thank you for the superb customer service!

The first time I used their services I had to ship an international return DHL and the woman working was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I decided to use postal annex again, but the second time I asked the man (different employee) working here if he could help me with how to attach my DHL labels (knowing I would need a sleeve). He flat out said “no I can’t help you” and dismissed me. I was so confused and taken aback. He informed me his only job was to give the box to the driver and seemed to have no knowledge or previous experience shipping internationally. If he did, he flat out refused to help me. I don’t advise using their shipping services if you have any questions at all or are sending anything important, as it doesn’t seem like they care much about what happens to your package after you walk out the door. I ended up turning around and taking my package back to use a different, more helpful DHL drop off location that I can feel safe and assured my important package will be in good hands with.
I would honestly give my first experience 5 stars and my second experience 0 stars. My feedback is it would help to hire employees that are more knowledgeable ! Maybe he didn’t know how to help me, but it would have been nice if he could have just admitted that or attempted to help :)

They will charge ridiculous amounts for anything. There are always random people who sometimes know what they are doing and sometimes don't, and sometimes they are polite and sometimes they are just rude. Do yourselves a favor, just drive a few blocks east to the UPS store. They have better service and better prices.

I had three very different experiences with this location. This past Friday the person who worked with me was very professional. They asked me about my preference of size and type of paper. We got a 11X17 print and it came out great.I came in yesterday and the folks working couldn't figure out how to print something. I came home, reformatted the file. In my mind I was thinking that I would just come in today and get the same service as I did on Friday.Came in today. Worked with a different person than yesterday or Friday, I told them I sent an email with my file. the person who I worked with didn't asked any questions, just hit the Print button.I advised the person that I was actually hoping to get stock paper (It was for a sign and that was obvious by its content). The person responded, "Oh, that printed on regular. I'll print one on stock. It doesn't matter since you're paying for both anyway".I was in shock by the attitude. I wasn't going to argue about $1 or $1.25. That's not the point. What bugs me is that I didn't ask for regular paper, but I had to pay for it anyway despite it being the fault of an over zealous employee who asked for zero input. I'm still in awe of the snarky comment and attitude. If I do go back, it'll be only on Fridays. Otherwise I'll just go down the street (thanks for the other reviews that let me know there are other options).BTW - my positive experience on Friday is the only thing holding me back from leaving one star.

Not a real postal annex. This place is a 3rd party. Wanted almost double to ship 2 small books. Go to the annex down the street on se Powell.

Convenient hours, but they nickel and dime you and the printers are lower quality, with larger margins and lower color fidelity. The Macadam and Broadway locations are better for printing by far, with better software and machines, and they don't have unexpected fees that aren't explained or posted anywhere to end up on your receipt. This branch also has fewer printing services and sells fewer office supplies and materials than the two branches mentioned. If you want to mail something or print documents after the others close, by all means, but don't go there if you want service from a branch who doesn't hold itself to its sister stores' standards.

Great hours & great customer service every time. Postal annex is more welcoming & cozy than your typical post office so I ship from here whenever I can. They also have a great notary service, just make sure to call ahead to be sure that the notary is in.

My favorite post office in town. I don't mind paying another dollar or two than I would at USPS because I know that their staff goes above and beyond, at least in my experience. Scotty has been very patient with me and I have shipped some very large music equipment to different parts of the country. Everything I've ever brought by was always very well packed and shipped very quickly. Thanks for all the support!

They’re not willing to give customers USPS flat rate boxes that they get for free from the USPS, unless you’re paying them to ship your package. And extremely. We live in the neighborhood & my wife has shipped stuff from here before, but never again.

Excellent Passport Service and Customer Service! We were able to have passport photos taken and paperwork processed in minutes with the super friendly help of the staff at Postal Annex on SE 34th & Hawthorne. The team working here are always above-and-beyond helpful and have made all my personal mailing and shipping needs a breeze and saved me tons of time out of the post office lines. They also have a wonderful selection of gift cards and gift items from local artists which is very cool. I have been going here for years and have had consistently stellar customer service from every staff member. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend them.
