This place has always provided great customer service. I’ve mailed packages, registered letters, and passport here including photo. Highly recommended for convenience and service.

I was apprehensive going to this location after reading the reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised at the exceptionally kind service I experienced not once, but three times. Twice in-person and once over the phone. Every single employee I interacted with went above and beyond in helping me mail my package and get documents notarized. Would definitely use again.

0 stars if I could! workers were super hospitable but those rates are insane! Better luck going to the actual carrier since they don’t charge double the rate

Was fairly quick and easy, but the USPS ground rates were nearly twice as much as what they would have been at a post office (I checked online after the fact using the package specs from my receipt). I understand a markup for convenience and to cover the cost of doing business, but that seems like price gouging. Customer service was also lackluster. Won't be going back.

I'm finally giving up on this place. Not only have I seen the employees roughly and disrespectfully handle fragile packages, but I repeatedly asked them if my odd-sized envelope needed extra postage and they said no. Guess what! The envelope was returned for additional postage! What was even the point of going there for them to calculate it for me?? I miss the post office on NW 24th

I just called and spoke with Ryan to confirm/see if they did the live scan fingerprinting at this office. He said "we don't" and hung up so fast. Incredibly rude, no customer service. Take your business elsewhere.

This is the second time I left the postal annex on 23rd in Portland feeling amazed at how really rude they were. This time the guy came to the counter saying, " yeah, so what's this about" to me waiting in line with my package. He was barefoot and barely looked at me. I asked him a pretty standard question about their busness rates to which he scoffed he didn't have any idea and suggested I go research the question. I said he should find the answer but as there was no manager there apparently no one should be expected to answer a basic question there. The other person working said nothing. The other customer answered my question and even though the rates were acceptable I left with my package. Never again they are aggressively rude.

I dropped off an Amazon package at this location. It was never scanned into the system or arrived at its destination. This is the second time I've had this happen. I would strongly avoid this location.

I’m a regular at the Hawthorne and Happy Valley PostalAnnex locations but this one missed the mark. The gal working was rude the the customer in front of me (she refused to print a receipt for her, then printed one for me), charged me for labor when I wrapped my own box, and did not ask about shipping options and just picked and expensive option. It felt like I was bothering her to do her job, this location is close to my work, but I won’t be back.

Made the mistake of coming here to notarize a document. The two employees were playing Dungeons and Dragons and literally did not want to interrupt their game to come to the counter. When the (long, black haired male) worker did come to assist he appeared to be under the influence and insisted he could not notarize my (government issued) document because it "does not have a space that says notary" when it did. Despite pointing it out to him repeatedly, he refused to notarize. If stoned morons are the only employees available; close. The next notary I went to did it in less than 5 minutes! Pathetic excuse of a business.
