“i always have positive experiences at this post office! speedy and friendly workers and i can always find a spot to park. it continues to be my preferred post office :)”
“I do a lot of shipping for my business and the staff here is very friendly and helpful which is a huge difference from the waterfront post office. Apparently waterfront is where they send all of their problem employees. At this location everyone is great.”
“What an awesome post office. I love the old look and how they attend to you. I've been to other post offices I. Texas and this one is way way WAY better.”
“Friendly staff, easy to walk there if you live in FoPo. They can be a little busy in the afternoon but wait time is decent. Good selection of stamps and supplies. If you drive, parking lot is okay too.”
“Super friendly employees, only been delayed during Holiday season when EVERYONE was there to mail stuff out. Rest of the time its usually empty. I've gone around lunch break and after work and close to closing and its always either empty or a handful of people, and the employees are welcoming.
Parking is limited and sucks sometimes, but that's everywhere in PDX.”
“Rarely crowded, courteous and helpful staff, automated postal machine in the lobby which is open 24/7. Beaverton’s best PO. Other POs are closer to my home but I choose this one.”
“Where did Deb go? She was an absolute legend, I’ve never met/seen a person slang packages like she did… very keen on the passport process as well, I would mail more stuff if she were still here. Always appreciated her knowledge on the forms as well.
Hope retirement is treating her well..
Long live Debbie!!!!”
“Even when busy, this post office offers friendly and quick services. I’ve witnessed impatient and rude customers occasionally at this branch, but the staff is always patient and professional.”
“You can do a change of address form here and open Saturdays ! Very nice and knowledgeable service knowing the rules and standards of a regular USPS can answer questions”
“The little gem of a station is just off SE Powell at SE 14th. It is a gem, often overlooked in favor of the larger Brooklyn Station on SE 7th. The result is generally shorter lines (if there are any at all). During the last couple of visits, there is one person "holding down the fort." It's better to have your packages securely taped prior to sending them, only because there are *occasional* shortages of packing supplies you may otherwise have a last-minute need for.”
“Love the service the postal workers at the register. They are every nice and helpful wrapping the package. I have a bad arm so it's nice we they help me with my items.”

8816 SE 17th Ave, Portland“Not sure why all the negative reviews. I always call this location when my package is lost and they've always been super helpful. And the staff there is friendly if you need to come in to pick up a package. I don't think people know how good they have it here compared to other cities/states.”
“I am a big fan of all the employees at the Milwaukie post office. I know they have the weekends off, so go then boo-hoo but they are always so reliable whenever I am there Monday through Friday they all rock and I respect each and everyone of them.”
“Just want to give a huge shout out to the post master of this post office. She went above and beyond to help us find our missing packages. Turns out it was a simple mistake, but it shows alot about her leadership to handle the task on her own. Thank you again.”
“Not the most timely service for deliveries, but I haven't dealt with this location in-person, except for once. I had some packages that they held after not being able to verify my new address for some reason. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was friendly and helpful. I went by one day and the service desk was closed, but it was within the time frame he gave me. I knocked and he had left a note on my packages for an easy pickup. I appreciated his service and that he corrected the issue. Side note: they don't answer when you call. He saw my inquiry after being unable to reach anyone and he called me.”
“05/25/2024 at 10:30 am That girl working by herself. Is truly one of the best or the best member on you team..Highly efficient, kind .I am sorry i didn't have her .You guys should take care of such an amazing employee.”
“We went in to post some post cards from our travels and Herb helped us quickly and efficiently!
He was personable and was happy to chat and tell us about Portland. It was nice meeting him.
P.S. the negative reviews feel over-the-top.”
“The staff here gave me accurate help on tracking down a package that failed to deliver. They can be a bit snappy/short in conversation but I've seen the crazy or clueless people they have to deal with all day. So I'd forgive them dinner for being that way. Service jobs are hard.”
“I feel like they are super understaffed, often waiting long time to get packages. But the people who work there are friendly and often have to deal with rude customers probably due to a lack of staffing”

2000 NE 42nd Ave D, Portland“I visited this location for passport photos. Employee Clay did an excellent job for me. I noticed that they make yard signs for city council candidates too when the candidate dropped in. They also rent mailboxes, offer fingerprinting, along with other services. This is a well-run, family-owned, local business with strong neighborhood ties.”
“Thoroughly enjoy shipping my packages from this location. The staff is always patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Shout out to Rob! He’s a really nice and helpful clerk.”
“I've never had a single problem with the office for USPS at 3850 SE 82 Ave. Of course, I try to be as positive a person as I can so my transactions go smoothly. I'm hoping the other complaint ones don't go in on Christmas Eve or trying to rush them through what they want because they are late for dinner or a plane. That's just plain dumb. Try having a smile on your face and accept it and to your best to be nice. It is reciprocal. Give grumpy you'll get grumpy.”
“They have no retail service here! (You can not send a package that is not prepaid). I rushed to get here before they closed on a Saturday and can’t send a package. Just thought you Customers should know before they google your way here. lol.”
“The postal service does more for less money than any other corporation in this country. They do it all with money they earn selling actual services, and while bearing up under poor management by Congress. We are lucky to still have a Postal Service.”
“Great staff. I use many different post offices for my business but this location by far has the best customer service, atmosphere and sense of community. It’s the type of place you may run in to a friend or neighbor while waiting in line.”
