Best place to store your special or precious wines in a comfortable and unpretentious atmosphere, run by great people willing to help. 'always a 55 degrees for the many years I've stored there. Well equipped client lounge and well-maintained bathroom. Super convenient 24Hr. access. Excellent concierge services during normal work days.

If you need to store some wine long term. THIS IS THE PLACE. Even if it's 90F outside you are going to need a sweater it's chilly inside. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking could be problematic. On street parking.

I bought 2 used wine shipper 3 years ago and travelled with one of them over 100 flights and the box is still alive. Heading back to portland next week and I'll go grab some more for sure.

This is the first time I am writing a review of a business whose services I don't (rather, can't) use. After the winery tours in Willammete Valley I had collected 15 bottles that I needed to take back to Texas. It was a Saturday and I called some of the wine shipping companies near Newberg, OR but they were closed or closing early. My flight was the next day and I was beginning to get a little worried.Then I called Portland Wine Storage and asked them for suggestions. Even though I was not a customer of their wine storage (and as a result they could handle the shipping), the staff was was very helpful in giving me options on how I could ship the wine myself. They took multiple calls from me and patiently answered all my questions. It was clear that they cared for wines, even of those who are not their storage customers.In the end I opted to buy a 12 bottle wine box from them for $5 and take that box with me as checked luggage in my flight the next day. I reached their store with my wines. The staff was very friendly and enthusiastically helped box and tape my wines even though the business I was giving them was paltry. The wines reached home with me safely and I saved quite a bit by not having to ship through ground options.If they treat a person who is not a customer of their wine storage service so well, imagine how well their customers are treated. Their care and passion for wine is very evident. I have the highest praise for them. Since I don't live nearby, I cannot use their storage service; but if I did, I would.

They focus on wine and know what is needed to help you protect it. These guys run an exceptional operation. Not only is the storage facility itself well run, but everyone is genuinely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate their clients.

These guys received and stored wine for us for several years while we were in transition to Portland. Really nice space, great service, and nice easy going guys. Even called us once because our locker was empty at the time and checked to make sure we wanted to keep paying. They have all sizes from small lockers to vaults and will hold your key for you if you don't come in much. Great place.
