Everything went great with our pod. Delivery, pick up and another delivery and pick up went smoothly. The two times we went to visit our pod were easy.Special thanks to Hector who picked up our pod today. What a wonderful and skilled guy!

So far pretty disappointed. This is the second time we've used PODS and the first time was pretty good. No complaints. This time around has been irritating. My family (me, my husband, and our 3 small children), and my parents are moving states and ordered our pods together- our was to arrive between 1030-130. I called at 1:25 asking about the delivery window- they said 410-420. Okay, cool- I understand. My parents called too, because they got theirs but saw that ours was not there yet. They were told 440. Okay, cool. I call at 430, inquiring about it again. They said there's traffic and they're short on drivers, but no later than 6. It's now after 6, and no POD yet. And they are now "closed" based on the information on the website.I am fully aware that things happen, but the lack of communication with us and annoying. No updates or heads-up. I only have so many days to fill this thing before my family can no longer be in this home- today was my only full day with two adults to fill it up.. it's aggravating. The PODS are not cheap, and I feel like my time and money has been wasted, AND my whole schedule needs to adjust. The folks who answered my calls were nice but offered very little help- they have zero control over it, but like, an "I'm sorry" or an "dang, that does suck, let's see what we can do" would have gone a long way. Shit happens, but at least notify people. These are stressful times, a phone call takes 5 minutes.

This company is a scam. Only way to talk to someone is a 1-800 number, which is a joke. Customer service is horrible. My POD is now stored at their facility & I don’t even know what I’m paying. Every time I call, someone changes the “price quote”. I wish I never went with this company. Beyond frustrated!

In front of the building, there is 2 handicap spots, and between the 2 handicap spots is a walkway one of the drivers that drives for pods park his car in the walkway between the 2 handicap spots that is wrong. And I know hes not handicapped. He should not park there park in a regular spot. I do have a picture of it.

PODS is a very terrible company. Their so called customer service is just the worst and it is a waste of time to even speak with them. Their invoicing is atrocious and will result in a much higher total cost than initially quoted by them. I have been trying to get a final invoice from them for over a year at their website, via email correspondence, and speaking with them directly over the phone and they have continually ignored my multiple requests. Their customer service people are just plain rude and ignorant. Don't waste your time and money.

They keep saying they are coming to pick my POD up but then dont show up. We are on our 4th attempt. Each time, I have to call, and they seem to have no idea why their driver didn't show up. Super frustrating.

These drivers are excellent! We have an extremely narrow driveway and still able to have the pod placed as close to the house as they could get it. Massive thank you to both of the delivery drivers for their expertise!

I have read some negative reviews regarding PODS. My experience was all positive! All deliveries and pickups were on-time with friendly personnel. Cross-country move was without incident and 28 months of storage did not negatively affect my contents. No rust or infestations at all.

PODs is unreliable , untrustworthy and unreasonable. In PODS middle California My sister recently widowed, moving from Nevada to Mid California. They have royally jacked her around! . She recently lost her husband , then both her dogs passed in her small RV as she made her way to California. She's an attorney, still practicing and she is 81. Because she lost her phone charger during the trip, lost her beloved dogs she was at a place where she could neither respond to emails or calls. . Because it took her days longer because of the traumatic circumstances , because of a snowstorm in the Donner pass area she had to take a longer route. She specifically and clearly asked if they needed anything else, when she paid for 3 pods, until she could find a home in California. They clearly stated no! She paid them and since finding a home in California they agreed on a date to deliver them, yet when we as family stopped here to help her, we're told the date had been moved out to September 8th and she would pay the extra rent. So the help she had scheduled, along with 2 family members sleeping on floors all had to be changed and delayed . She called them stating "that was the agreement she made, and was clearly told nothing else was needed upon asking them". They replied they had sent her an e mail that needed to be signed. Then they said they had called her . She not only had no phone in the days she was traveling, but as of today shows no record of a call from them She called last week from her new empty home , spoke to a supervisor (and rightly so, after getting a run around" who PROMISED to make it right and scheduled the pods to be delivered today 8/25/22 at no extra charge, referring to the original agreement. We waited for arrival between , between 3-7pm. , had movers ready . When it got late she called for an ETA today , it was back to square one , with a "I'm sorry" , completely disregarding the second arrangement she was promised, completely disregarding the wait , the great inconvenience and lack of family who've continued to stay here to to to help her. PODS should be ashamed for their unwillingness to stand behind their promises. They should be aware of the hundreds of obstacles , lack of internet, phone, and hundreds of other situations that arise as families make a move across the country, and that things happen, they are servicing people of all ages and situations . And not saying their rules are not clear, but seems only to to them, they certainly did not convey this to my sister who clearly asked them if they needed anything else, and they clearly replied no. PODS misled her, has caused great inconvenience and overtly went back on their word to fix this for her as they said they would..... So she will sit in an empty house for weeks . They for the second time again reneged on the deal and the solution they promised her last week.

Customer service is abysmal. Read the other reviews about delivery issues. Everything was 5 stars until redelivery. PODs missed their delivery yesterday, and when I followed up they assured me that I would have my things today (one day late). I have called several times to confirm today, and have been told there was an issue with my quote (from weeks ago), and that will take 4 days to schedule this move (this move have BEEN scheduled???) Now customer service is non stop transferring me or simply hanging up on me when I describe the issue and try to talk about a resolve. I have no idea when I will be able to get my stuff back, how I will be able to get it back, or where I will get everything back as I am now moving. I will never use them again. Update: auto reply.. nice.

This company is a complete scam. So unorganized and unprofessional. While I was reasonable frustrated I apologized to the women I was speaking to before hand if I get frustrated. We ended up starting off with a nice conversation she was kind of helpful then she caught attitude with me and hung up on me mid sentence. Her name is Kathy. And she needs to be fired.

Wish I could say good things about PODS company since they’re pod units are clean and even though they were dropped off in a timely fashion, trying to get them picked up after they’ve been emptied is becoming cumbersome.We received two 16’ units placed in our driveway to load contents of our home into during floor install/construction work. Following completion of the work, we moved everything back into the house. Then started the phone calls (to PODS from our insurance agent) to come pick up the units so we could use our driveway and not park in the street. Well… after a week, one pod was picked up and even though we were told they’d both be picked up, we are still waiting on the 2nd one…horrible customer service

Avoid pods for long distance moving, at least our experience with was nothing but lies and unprofessional people in customer service. We will never use them again. They told us a payment break down that was not what they charged. They will charge 95% of the total a week before you move and they told us that they would pick it up within a week and we told the customer service that we wanted it 4 days after our drop off and when we checked our account nothing was entered and then we scheduled it and it was for 3 weeks later which then went past the 8th so they want another months rental of the unit.Just avoid the scam artist liars and go with another service it will definitely be cheaper and you might have better customer service.
