The cashier wasn't very pleasant. Stopped in for bottled water. Also, there aren't any trash cans on premises outside. I had to ask if they had trash can.

Neighbors, you don't need to drive all the way down the hill to get a few things. The prices and quality here are great, and so is the friendly customer service. There aren't 50 kinds of bread, but what you find will be fresh and reasonably priced. There's a decent stock of basic automotive supplies too and you won't stand around in a long line to check out your own groceries like those big box places.

Our favorite little red store. Been going here for years grabbing our treats to take out on the boat.

Great guy who talked to us tonight when we had to stop and strap our stuff down for our move. Very friendly and welcoming!

They don't even have a restroom for their cashier to use! They should at least have one for the employee even if it's not public for paying customers. And if that should least have an outhouse. The cashier had a great attitude and all the food and snacks were decently priced.

This place has been here forever and I have been negligent in not reviewing it sooner. 40 years ago, this area was the boondocks. Only the locals knew about Cornelius Pass hwy as a short-cut to hwy30 and there were very few homes and not much traffic on Skyline. If you ever had a burning desire to hit a deer just head on down Skyline at night and you'd meet one (or more). Of course these days the ridge is million dollar homes inhabited by people who have no concept of what working for a living is all about. Plainview is as blue collar as it gets. I feel right at home here. Family owned biz. The folks live right on the property. The building was funky and in disrepair when I moved here 40 years ago and except for perhaps a coat of paint it looks pretty much the same. I think most people just drive on by thinking it's a vacant old derelict building... I mean why on earth would a car parts store be out here in the middle of nowhere? But, fact is, this store is alive and well. They have the usual staples plus the sorts of canned stuff that hunters love. You couldn't pay me to go inside a 7/11 or a Jacksons but I totally love this place. Great people. As for the auto parts, I dunno. I've never really inspected the inventory but I'm guessing most of it is for pre-ECP vehicles for the most part. Kinda doubt I'd find much that would fit on my hemi or vintage Corvette although I have picked up a few items for my old Harley over the years.

Nice selection of read to go treats and drinks. The parking lot may remove an axel so beware of the parking.
