This is hands down the best convenience store in the neighborhood! The customer service is truly top-notch — everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The cashiers are always friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about every product they sell.
A big shoutout to Nady, Matt, Martell, Steven, and Anthony — they always provide excellent service and are ready to assist with anything you need. Whether it’s finding a specific item, recommending a deal, or just greeting you with a smile, they make every visit a great experience.
This is the only store I go to in the neighborhood because I know I’ll always get the best service and a pleasant shopping experience. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this store honestly deserves one. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The customer service is beyond excellent — the cashiers always greet you with a smile and a warm “hello.” It instantly makes you feel welcome, like they actually care that you’re there. That’s rare these days, especially compared to other stores where you’re barely acknowledged.
Another thing I really appreciate is how the associates always look out for the customer’s best interest. Every time I buy something, they let me know about the best deals — especially loyalty discounts on cigarettes and chew products. They’ll even suggest buying multiples if it saves me money. It’s clear they know their products inside and out, and they never hesitate to help you find what you need.
And honestly, the professionalism here is unmatched. The associates are always well-dressed, clean, and put-together — some even wear nice cologne! It’s such a pleasant experience compared to other stores where employees sometimes look like they just rolled out of bed.
Even though there’s another store closer to where I live, I choose to drive to this one because of how they treat their customers and run their business. The manager especially deserves recognition — you can tell he’s doing an outstanding job teaching his team how to be professional, helpful, and respectful. The store is always spotless, organized, and fully stocked with everything I need.
But what impressed me the most was something I witnessed one day while buying snacks. The manager was talking to a homeless man — and he knew him by name. Instead of calling the police or kicking him out, he calmly explained that the store is a small business and can’t afford shoplifting. Then, he offered him a deal: if the man promised not to steal, he’d allow him to bring in bottles for redemption instead. The homeless man agreed. Watching that interaction showed me just how smart, compassionate, and fair this manager is.
This store isn’t just another convenience store — it’s run by people who actually care about their customers, their community, and doing business the right way.

As a Portland gnome always on the roam, I can say this Plaid Pantry is a true little treasure! 🌲 Whether it’s a quick snack, a cold drink, or just a friendly hello, it always delivers. The store is tidy, easy to pop into, and feels safe. Martell is the best—welcoming, helpful, and always bringing good energy. For a gnome on the go, it’s the perfect stop along the trail!

I always enjoy shopping at this store! It’s consistently clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with everything I need. The shelves are always neat, and I can easily find what I’m looking for. The staff is exceptional Nady, Matt, Martell, Chris, Andrew and Steven—always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with any questions. It’s clear that they take pride in providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend this store for its great atmosphere and attention to detail!
