Deciding to switch to e-bikes and having multiple brands, models and stores to choose from, my wife and I were lucky to eventually find and work with both Chase and Alex at this location.Extremely knowledgeable and patient with us, both of these guys took the time to answer all our questions and help us find the perfect bike for our needs.Before you make any final decisions, stop by and speak with either of these two professionals. Chase was awesome, honestly had a problem with the original bike i picked out and chase was more than willing to spend the extra time to get me out on a bike that day, bought the pedego element, appreciate the top notch service!

Brook was amazing!! After showing us how to operate the bikes and giving us a full tutorial, she told us how to get to the waterfront trail and gave us tips and tricks. The Pedego Bike shop made me want to bring a Pedego business to Wisconsin!

Excellent customer service, great staff and especially a big huge hug to Adam (the teal hair angel). Ok now down to specifics. While in the middle of a 4 month road trip I contacted Pedego Portland and spoke with Adam. I explained what was damaged on the bike and that I was traveling. Adam immediately checked inventory and told me to bring it in the following morning. He replaced the bent rim and and sent us on our way. I am sure all readers have received a reply when needing service that it will be weeks. My only wish is that I wish they were closer to my home in Arizona. And now a comment on Pedigo, my bike is a dream. I had to give up riding my other bikes due to a bad knee. After purchasing my ebike, I have had no knee problems. The last two summers a friend and I have traveled the west searching trails to ride. I’m 73 and my friend is 80, and so if you are questioning a purchase, I would whole heartedly recommend Pedego and buy from Pedigo Portland for the best customer service around.

Last July as I was passing through Portland, I stopped at the Pedego Portland store. I had heard about Pedego’s from some techs at a bike rental shop in California and thought I’d take a look at them. I was met by owner Tommy Connell and the real force behind the store: his dog Kona. Tommy started answering my questions and then said “Let’s get you on a bike”. He showed me the basic working of the Pedego, told me how to get to the bike path on the riverfront (two blocks away), and said “Give her a spin”.Dear God: overweight, out of shape, bad knee, 58 year old me was suddenly on a bike again enjoying myself like I hadn’t for years. The Step-thru Interceptor fit me like a glove. After an hour I figured I better take it back. I knew at that point I would get one, in spite of the fact these bikes are not cheap (though, no more than other e-bikes of the same caliber).Tommy worked with me to get the bike in the color I wanted and had it for me in time for an upcoming trip where I could do some riding. Since then, I have put over 1000 miles on the bike, in spite of five months in the garage because of the cold, wet north Washington winter.Both my daughters loved my bike so much they each bought one. Just last week I brought two of them in for tune-ups and Tommy took a great deal of time to do a thorough service and cleaning on both bikes at no charge – he gives the first tune up at no cost.It’s a 400 mile round trip for me to get to the Portland store (and I will confess that the original reason was no sales tax on a big purchase), but I enjoy working with Tommy. I’ve now been in about a dozen Pedego stores as I travel and I’ve not found a better, more competent owner than Tommy. If you have any interest in an e-bike (and I’ve found I love the bike friendliness of Portland), stop in and take a test ride. Just be prepared to get hooked.

Great experience with Chase, the sale’s rep. He was able to answer my questions so quickly that I couldn’t even keep up with the conversation. I’m a huge fan of Bosch products and this line of electric bikes. I test drove the Element fat tire model and enjoyed its giddy up and go thoroughly. I’d love to run it through its paces further and see how hard it can be worked on various terrains. Quiet rides seem to be best for me. Thanks for the experience Pedego!
